Won't find any steer horns that big for that price. Packing was incredible with injected foam molding around the horns in an oversized box.

We purchased these for our son for Christmas and he was thrilled. The size is just right and the quality is excellent- really beautiful. It was packed so well too and protected.

I have to admit, after reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptable to purchase this. But, I am glad I did! They are gorgeous and they were well packaged for shipping.

These horns are even better than pictured! They were installed in a study over a TV, high up on the wall -- they are wildly impressive. Price can not be beat and quality just as great!

I ordered them the same minute I found them online because I am from Dallas and have dealt with Shepler's for more than 50 years. I have NEVER been disappointed in any of their Merchandise. The Longhorns arrived shortly after I ordered them and I couldn't be more pleased! They are 60" long and in PERFECT Condition and much more Beautiful than I had dared to expect. They are absolutely EXQUISITE in every way. I have them displayed in my "OLD WEST ROOM" in my Home and I plan to buy another set for my County Front Porch, (which is completely covered) and I would recommend these Longhorns to ANYONE and EVERYONE interested in this kind of Decor. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL horns! Very large and perfect! I was so excited to receive these, but they were wrongly handled on the way to my house and when I opened the box one horn was falling out of the leather, and there was a large crack in the horn. I know this was from shipping and handling, not the store itself. Very great buy for the price! I will buy again after I move!

The actual horns are wonderful,however the hanging mechanics were a disaster.you CANNOT use the hole on the backbase provided because of the hole placement and the horns. I had to add my own wood to make the base larger and add the proper hole placement for hanging.

The horns were delivered in less than a week. And made it just in time to hang for the first Texas game! They came very well packaged with lots of padding and no damage. As they are natural horns, there is variation. Mine are entirely black/gray with zero white/brown and are 52” from tip to tip (measurement does include the mounting block between the horns so that length is not entirely horn.) I am very happy with them and might even buy another!

I literally cannot stop staring at these. They are beautiful on my mantle! After reading some reviews, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but they are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The quality and workmanship are phenomenal, the packaging was done with tremendous care to ensure it arrived in perfect condition, and I seriously could not be any happier - and for $100 for the large!! Some reviews said they weren't as big as described - I beg to differ...they are huge! A true centerpiece to the room. LOVE THEM!

The box arrived perfectly intact, but the horns were destroyed inside. The center mount was also not nearly as nice as in the photo. Looked nothing like on the website. Mounting plaque wasn't even finished. Very cheap looking. Poor construction. I returned it because it was broken, but did not order a replacement. Thanks, Sheplers for great customer service and taking it back. Poor quality product, though.

Although the horns themselves were quite nice, they were delievered to me broken. Prior to ordering the horns I checked the reviews and noticed that the same thing happened to other people.

I ordered these steer horns as a wedding gift for a friend. The horns are nice, but the disappointment for me was the finish and trim work (the wrappings in the center, as well as the mount are literally a joke). The wood that the horns are mounted on is a very junky piece of pine, and it's unfinished, literally looks like a scrap from a construction site. The otherwise nice horns are fixed onto the hunk of pine with large staples, not even tacks or screws. The wrapping trim work on the center of these horns is NOT leather, it's some phony vinyl or other garbage fabric that looks like it belongs on a toy, and looks nothing like it does in this picture. The upside here is the fact that these things seem to be priced accordingly, as steer horns with decent leather trim work and a nice piece of mounting wood run for several hundred dollars. I didn't know that, and now I have been on a month plus long project ordering various leather strips and hides in order to replace the fake trim that this came with, because, in all honesty, even though $90 is a fine amount for a wedding gift, it would be embarrassing to present this as a gift with such fake and junky looking trim work. As mentioned, however, the horns are quite nice, and the price seems fitting, so you can just do what I'm doing, put in another hundred or two hundred dollars, and a lot of time, and you could have yourself a nice piece of home decor that otherwise may cost over $500.

Although they may be nice as a novelty item, if you are looking for actual authentic steer horns these are not it. They use cheap imitation leather binding in the center, the wood base on them also looks cheap and they are not actually real horns. I ordered these thinking they were actually real steer horns from a name like Sheplers and then began reading reviews. After the good reviews I find several talking about how chincy these are and then realize they are just a novelty item. I suppose it's a get what you pay for deal. And when something seems too good to be true it probably is. They do come packaged very well and the finish on the horn material it's pretty nice. Overall they look cheap - if you're trying to accent a nice room these are not in my mind.

These are listed as authentic. I am not sure about that, they are very light and shiny like plastic. Mine are not as pictured as I was hoping after reading other reviews. The Leather in the middle on mine is dark brown and the accent pieces are tan. I like that look better. It looks great, don’t get me wrong, I like them. I want to put them on a better mount.

I bought one of these 14 years ago it was a smaller one that lasted on my truck as a hood ornament for five years. I'm hoping this time after I waterproof it it'll last for a longer time. The price is awesome. Can't beat it. And the quality is phenomenal. These will go on my Ford F-150 pickup truck.

These look and feel very real! The plaque that holds them isnt stained but that wasnt an issue because we stained it ourselves to match the wood in our home. I wish i could post a photo on here because im so in awe of them and how gorgeous they are. They fit in our place perfectly and really bring character to the area in our home we hung them. Ours were white with black and grey speks! Super super beautiful and heavy duty!

Large steer horn: I would have rated this 5 stars except the wood piece made to hang the horns in the walls was poorly done. It was a easy fix to make the opening bigger to hang. Looks very nice.

The horns looked nice but are not "authentic" as the website says. Continue reading in smaller print and you will notice that they are handcrafted. I have returned them since I was interested in having a set of horns that actually came from a Longhorn steer, as opposed to horns made of plastic.

My husband has wanted steer horns FOREVER, so I found these online for his birthday. I was skeptical, but after reading the reviews and researching the family that makes them, I knew these would be great! Some reviewers complained that the horns were shipped broken, but all you have to do is add a note in the special shipping instructions area that says to label the package with a FRAGILE sticker, and they arrive perfectly fine! I had no problems in that area at all. The length of the horns is definitely long (ours were a little longer than 4 feet), and the color and polishing of the horns was fantastic. Some other reviewers complained about the mount finishings, but we liked them - we feel the raw wood makes them look more rustic, and the leather and tacks look really nice. I am very happy with this purchase, and I totally recommend buying these!

I bought your "Authentic" Large Steer Horns and when I opened the package, I discovered they were plastic. I had thought "Authentic" meant real steer horns? The quality and workmanship is good but really wanted natural steer horns.

These horns were the perfect gift at the perfect price. I was very pleased once they arrived and shipping was quick! I made sure to note when I ordered the horns to mark the package as fragile to avoid having a broken item. The packaging exceeded my expectations and the horns were very secure. I would also note that the trims at the butt of the horns is not of high quality and can easily be refinished, but for the purpose of the gift it was presentable. I would definitely recommend this purchase to anyone considering it! Thanks Sheplers
