Waterproof, light, very comfortable and appropriate for riding and hiking. I wear size 6 or 6 1/2 in most brands but always size 6 in Ariats. This is my first pair of waterproof Terrain boots…..highly recommend!

These boots are great. I bought them for my boyfriend and he loves them. They are water proof, tough, and don't wearout too fast. They are alsolight weight andflexible!

Love these boots, comfy right out of the box. I have been wearing this style for 5 years now. I walk several miles a day around the homestead and wear them year round! Sadly not so easy to find in size 6 or 5.5

I love how comfortable these boots are and the fact that they are actually waterproof! However, I work outside, which is why I bought "workboots," and the soles of these boots are terrible for any slippery surfaces! If I walk through snow and try to cross an asphalt driveway, it is as bad as trying to walk across ice. I can only assume its because the materials used for the sole are a harder rubber than the boots I normally use. I love the fit and comfort but I don't think I will purchase them again for my job.

They’re nice boots and worked out well for me. They’re good for riding and good for walking. Choosing a size when ordering boots is always challenging. I’ve had two pairs of Ariat Heritage Ropers, size 10 1/2. They started out large, but quickly shrank to fit. So I ordered 10 1/2 Terrains. They’re great, but next time I’ll order 1/2 size smaller. I hope that’s helpful.

Bought these back I the summer. Took about 3 days to break in but I was on my feet all day. Great to do anything in, fits any stirrup, good for hiking too. Only downfall is they smell if they get wet. Not bad but enough to smell. Otherwise great boot!

These shoes are perfect!!! I purchased an 8W and they are actually true to size! They are extremely comfortable on my wide foot and are perfectnotonlyforriding,but forworking around our property aswell. Iwilldefinitely be purchasing more of these as they are needed :)

I've owned several pair of Ariat Terrain boots over the years. My wife also. My recent pair though, seem a bit more stiff than usual. I've had them for over a year and condition them with our saddle soap regularly. Not sure what is up with that. Also the quality of their shoe strings has gone downhill. I have an old pair that still have the original strings and get abused in mud and wet conditions... they're still good. My new pair the strings have already frayed and broken their outer lining. On the hunt for a new set already...

I purchased these boots about 2 years ago and already the material covering the toe of the boot is coming apart. Actually, this is the second pair of boots that have had the same problem. Does your company have any kind of return policy that acknowledges this problem and would supply a pair of new boots to replace the boots with failed material performance? The rest of the boots are in great shape and could last for many more years.

My wife says these are the most comfortable boots she has ever worn. They are truly waterproof and great for barn chores. The sizing is generous and with a half size up she can easily fit her custom orthotics in these boots. She just discovered these last year and although her current boots are still going strong, she requested a new pair for Christmas so she would be ready when it's time :).

Daughter wears through boots about every three months and just loves her Ariat boots! Fit as expected, good arch support, waterproofing excellent and looks right fine as well. She loves the fit and feel as she is outside in horse stalls every day and this shoe is a must for her daily jobs with her clients. No foot pain and comfort helps move the day along great.

I have a wide forefoot with a bunion, so trying to find a comfortable shoe is difficult. It is even more difficult to find a comfortable waterproof shoe as the material often has less flexibility. I was pleased and surprised to find these boots comfortable. I typically wear a 7-7.5 wide (D) sneaker. I ended up getting these in a 6.5 wide (C). I replaced the insert with my own orthotics and there is enough room. So far they seem to keep the water out.

I have been through at least 10 pairs in the past 10 years. They are very comfortable but as noted by others, the toe wrap around doesn't last 6 months. Also, problems with the laces. I have finally decided to go to a different shoe in hopes of getting more than 6 month's wear. Currently I have 4 pairs sitting around here, but only the last purchase is still intact because I only wear them into town.

I am on my third pair of these exact boots over about a decade. They are amazingly comfortable, are perfect for all forms of riding, are comfortable for miles and miles of walking, and are totally waterproof. I never have had to take any special care, and I put them through a lot. I still have my previous pair as the sole was the only thing needing repairs, and I can still wear those. They fit perfectly to my sneaker size (7.5). I can wear thick and thin socks with them. Just please keep making them! Highly recommend, as do several friends who have both English and Western disciplines. They are a must for the trails we ride!

I bought my first pair two years ago to use for dog walking in winter or wet weather. They were super comfortable, and kept my feet dry. Same with my second pair, plus they have better support, stronger shoe laces and I like the styling even better. I can wear them all day with wool socks and my feet are NEVER cold.

Yesterday I could not find my hiking boots, so I wore my 3 year-old battered Ariat barn boots. We were on Mt. Rainier at high altitude across slippery snow banks and steep narrow trails of jagged rock. Mountain high adventure and danger. These boots slid less in the snow than my companion's. These boots were still comfortable when we staggered back to the trailhead exultant and exhausted. My feet did not hurt last night or when I woke up this morning - a first for a hard-core hike.

That they are not exactly waterproof, more like water resistant. They do get saturated , but they can keep dryer for longer than other brands of leather boots. They are however my most comfortable and wonderfully supportive footwear!

Love the Terrain boots. I always buy the men's because they come in wide widths. This is my third pair; however, the last pair I had was waterproof and 3M insulated. Ariat has the Pro Waterproof, insulated and with a zipper; however, it only comes in women's sizes/B width. Would like to see the waterproof laced boot with insulation back again - great for Minnesota weather!

I am a disabled veteran and was haveing trouble with my feet and knees hurting so I went to the VA and they provided inserts for my boots and at that time purchased my first pair of Ariat boots. I am very happy to find these they are so comfortable I wear them daily and have the newest pair to wear for dress and the other two for working on whatever im doing in the shop or house yard etc. So keep up the good work you have so many fine products and a great company. These are comfortable boots that seem reasonably waterproof and durable. My issue however is that I’m not sure what terrain they are being named after definitely not anywhere in the Rocky Mtns where one might expect to wear hiking boots. Living in Northern Idaho I was skeptical when I received these boots ss a gift as the tread could only be considered aggressive on a basketball court. When I actually took them hiking I found they are not good at maintaining traction on steep hiking.surfaces. As I mentioned, they are comfortable and well made, but are probably best served for hiking on concrete.

I ordered the distressed brown which shows the lighter color boot, which is what I wanted. When I received the boot it was indeed the darker brown boot. Please correct the pictures of your boots. They are not right. I will reorder, but now I've lost my 10% first order discount. Booo....

This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased. I train field dogs and am outdoors in rough country ... and around water all the time. I can walk all day in these boots and find they are more comfortable than hunting boots. They really hold up well.

I absolutely love these boots but they don’t last. I wear them every day all day long in the barn and the last two pairs I’ve gotten have both ripped apart within 6 months. Very disappointing. Might be that I have wide feet (had surgery on both my feet when I was in high school and went from needing a regular foot width and maybe a wide here and there to needing wide to extra wide). Would love to see if that’s my issue because my pair before these have usually lasted at least a year before breaking up (I also ride in them). Ariat doesn’t cater to the extra wide girls though!!

These felt good from the get go. I have a very slim and long foot so a sock is a must but it is workable. The only negative is the tred is not deepenough asI seemto wearthatdown fast and thenthey becomeslick. This is my 1st pair of H2O's and if they are as comfortable as the Canyon's, had 4 pairs, I will be a convert.

I got the blue and brown ones but wish the serape style one were waterproof as well as I love the look of those. If you are looking for good, comfortable sturdy boots, these are the ones. They are roomy at my normal size 8 but not overly so. Lots of toe room but not too loose

I wear these boots to the barn, while working with cattle and they are very comfortable. After standing on concrete for hours on end, my feet, ankles and back do not hurt. Wish I had bought these boots sooner. They are a little big and make my feet sweat but when it's 100 degrees outside, everything is sweating!

I love Terrain boots, and I wear them all day every day at the barn. They are extremely comfortable both for riding and barn work. I would rate them 5 stars, except that after several months they always develop a hole on the outside just about even with my little toe.

I purchased these boots several years ago and LOVED them, they lasted waterproof a couple winters here on the coast. They were a size 8 regular so I ordered a new pair same size but they were so tight and small I had to give them away. So I ordered the 8 wide still does not fit the same being too big now but I wanted to give them a try and have been wearing these about two months and are so insulated they made my feet sweat, so I thought they would definitely be waterproof, as advertised. But was VERY disappointed in this newer model, first ride out in the rain within two hours they were soaked through! Seems ridiculous I have to put a waterproof spray on a waterproof boot when I pay extra for that feature!

I wear these boots almost everyday - riding and in my wholesale nursery business - where I am on my feet all day and my boots often get wet. [...] The boots last me about 8 months with this constant use. I have a broad foot and they tend to split eventually in this area. The only area they could be improved upon are the shoelaces which last only about 3 months until I have to replace them.

Had shoes anout 3 years Wore them doing ranch work. All kinds conditions. Sole finslly csmr loose at leather seam. Bought.another pair. No upkeep at all Gtest.work.sjod or walking shoe. They wore out 2 sets of shoe laces. Could have repaired with gorilla glue and wore them sym more.

These are my second pair of the H20 Terrain boots. First pair lasted many years before the sole started to separate. They are great for a barn shoe as muck doesn't get all into the treads. I like them for riding too (western)- better than your typical cowboy boot in my opinion. If you've ever had to get off your horse and walk over rugged terrain or walk a trail because of a hoof injury- you want comfort and security. These have fulfilled that need for both on and off the trail. For me, and to my surprise, I do not find these slick at all in the mud or snow and my feet stay dry the whole time. Good traction and comfort- what more can you ask for. My wife just recently bought her first pair too! She is also very satisfied.

For comfort and fit, when it comes to Western, English or paddock boots, I've worn nothing but Ariat since 2003. I'm loyal to the Ariat brand largely because they offer the C width I need for a proper fit--unfortunately though, selection is very limited in this width--nothing really fashionable really...just a few 'plain janes'. This purchase wasn't my usual fare, but rather a quasi athletic work boot. Unfortunately though, the fit was nothing like all my previous Ariat purchases. The Ariat Terrain H20 C width is considerably narrower than what I'm accustomed to for the brand. I ordered another pair a half-size larger and the fit was only marginally better than my usual size. Buyer beware: As attractive as the 'boot' may be...if you truly need a wide fit, you may not be entirely happy with the Terrain H20 'C' width.

I had a similar Ariat pair for years- I work in the wholesale nursery business and am very demanding of my boots. I ordered this pair to finally replace the last one and it did not disappoint! The first day I wore them all day - no break in period. The 2nd day I pulled out the inner liner and put in my custom foot support - still a great fit and comfortable all day. I wear a size 9 in all shoes and these boots as well. These are true to size - it is a great, lightweight work boot, the bottom does not slip on icy surfaces - and yes, I will probably take hiking too.

I wear a ladies size 12 (B width) and have been having a very difficult time finding footwear for riding and working with horses. These aregreat!Theyareliterally as comfortable as my New Balance cross trainers. Will have to wear a thicker sock since the men's D width is wider than a ladies B but it's worth it. I just wish Ariat would carry ladies sizes larger than an 11. I plan on purchasing paddock boots next year and would rather get them in a women's size than a men's.

These boots are very comfortable. I love the soft leather and my knees feel a lot better. I like that they still have alittle cushion whentheinsole is removed and my ownorthotic is in place. Myonlysuggestion isto put padding in the heel to help hold the heel in place. Thank you for these boots. Thank you also for the large toe box--no pinched toes here.

I started a new hobby - learning how to horseback ride. So, for my safety, I wanted good, sturdy and water proof boots. At first I ordered my regular shoe size of 9.5 - boy was I way off. I returned them for a whole size smaller 8.5 and they are a perfect fit. Customer service was excellent - especially since my entire transaction was online! I wear semi-thick moisture repelling cool socks and break-in time was about a good day. After several months of mud, rain, muck, thicket, Texas heat and everything else imaginable on a ranch, these boots exceeded my expectations! My feet and legs are not the sore part of my body :) I highly recommend these boots.

These boots are about a year and a half old and the material on the toe area started cracking and then the sole started coming unglued. I wear them around my property and morning dew should not cause this kind of damage. I thought I was buying a quality boot that would last but these aren’t them! Don’t waste your money!

I wasn't 100 percent sold buying a pair of hikers. However, after trying these on and wearing them for a few days, they are my choice for almost every day wear! They are very comfortable, waterproof and easy to clean. I have a wide foot, so I ordered the wide width and they are great! I wear my hikers for almost every activity we do. I would highly reccomend this product!

I tested these boots out - went wood cutting with my husband, it ended up raining and my feet were warm, dry and comfortable all day. Love the look too. I got them $100 cheaper at Sheplers than they were in my local saddlery shop in Australia.

I live on a river in fl and have had these shoes for 6 years going down to the river,hiking,gardening etc. this is my 3rd pair and the only shoe I wear. I am 60.

These are the only above-the-ankle hiking boots I have ever liked wearing in my entire life. I usually prefer to hike in trail runners but I find myself choosing these for even quick dog walks along the railroad tracks where there’s a lot of large crushed gravel. I love that the soles aren’t too clunky, they have great support for my high arches, are narrow enough in the heel that my feet stay properly seated without having to make the laces too tight, and there is ample room in the toe box. I had a little bit of irritation at the top of my ankle from the “corner,” but it broke in quickly. Highly recommend.

I used to have no problem with fit on these terrain boots. Now the same size I have always worn is much narrower than before. I am disappointed.

In the past, I have been buying another type of work boot for work around the farm. I muck stalls everyday, do general barn work, a lot of walking on gravel lots and roads, general yard maintenance and hand mowing. I spend a lot of time in my work boots. I am very disappointed in the other work boot, which led me to Ariat. I have owned Ariat in the past, but only for riding boots, never work boots. These work boots are by far so much more comfortable that the other type of boot I had been buying. I have been wearing these new Ariat boots without my inserts (I have plantar arch & heel issues) and can certainly say these are doing the trick without any other additional supports. Very nice!! So now the question will be as to the durability of these Ariat boots. The other type of work boots I was buying wore out in less than a year (I went thru 3 pairs in less than 3 years). So I am keeping my fingers crossed that these Ariats last longer than at least a year. Time will tell. Thank you Ariat for making such a comfy, waterproof boot!! I love them so far. I have already recommended these to a couple friends.

I love these boots (have gone through a few pairs over the years) and will continue buying them for my everyday use around the cattle yards, on the horse (safe because of the heel), and just casual wear with a pair of jeans!!

I recently bought my 3rd pair of these boots. I use them for all sorts of farm work, herding, riding, and just started hiking in them. They get wet, muddy, pooped on, and walked on for miles and miles. I can’t recommend them enough. 3 pairs in 15 years; hope Ariat keeps making them this way. They even carry my size; 10.5! Even us unicorns are happy.

This is a great boot. Extremely comfortable, very cushy yet rugged construction. Truly waterproof and very warm, good for temperate zone winter. Size 8 US is usually a European 38. But this runs bigger than that. This is a European size 39 (and it says so on the box.) Width is exactly a B with rounded toe. No pinch. I would recommend that customers are told this is a European 39 when making their size selection.

I have a 320 acre farm and these boots are my daily wear. They are comfortable, durable , and look good. I would recommend them to anyone working hard all day. They come in wide widths and have excellent arch support. I will be 62 next month and this was an ealrly Christmas gift to myself.

These boots are not only excellent for daily equestrian activities but are perfect for casual wear with jeans and t-shirt. Also, I wear them when walking my dogs - very comfortable. Definitely waterproof - no wet feet whilst washing down my horse!

I had been looking for a replacement from my old boots for 2 years - when I came across these. The size was perfect and the ankle height is also perfect. I'm older - so I needed something sturdy. You can't go wrong with these boots. I do want to add they were a little tight / narrow at first, but they did loosen up, so only go with the wide if your feet are truly wide.

I love these 7.5 W women's boots. They fit perfectly out of the box the first time I put them on. I have wide feet so I struggle to find boots that fit my whole foot. The toe box is wide enough but not tight. I can still wear a good sock and not feel compressed. Usually if I can find boots to fit my width, the heel area is loose and I end up with blisters. Not with these boots. The heel area is snug. When I tighten the laces the whole boot fits like a dream. And no need to break in the ankle area or upper rim of the boot. No rubbing as I hunted two days in KS, 3 hrs each day. I have only worn them in dry weather so I don't know how they'll do in damp conditions but I am satisfied with my purchase.

I have owned this boot for several years now. This boot is not only waterproof, it keeps my feet warm in the Michigan winters. I check every once in a while to make sure Ariat is still making this boot, but as of now I still do not need another pair! Its heavy duty, but still fits easily into western and english stirrups.

YES, I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! They aren't the cutest, but they are my favorite pair of waterproof, endurance work boot!!! I have worn them hiking, working in the yard, in the barn, walking the dog, and I've even worn them on those cold winter days with a thick pair of wool socks. They have been an all season great boot for me. My last pair finally wore out after 14 years! It's true!! You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a good work boot!

Comfort from the get go. A little loose in the fit, which I like. Perfect with a little heavier sock. Most comfortable boots I have ever worn. The bonus for me, they look really good as well. I have had them for three months and use for working light construction. I tend to care for my shoes, rather than abuse them, and hope these hang for a good while.

I've had these boots for two years and wear them when riding my motorcycle. Typically, they might be worn twice a week from mid-spring thru mid-fall. Accordingly, the leather and soles are in really nice shape. However, those black rubber toe and heel caps......they are turning into a nice gooey black mess on both shoes. If you touch it with your fingers, better get some Lava bar soap or GOJO Waterless Mechanics hand cleaner to get the stuff off. In technical terms, the polymer material is breaking down (i.e., separating) into whatever petrochemicals it was formed from. Yea, it's bad and the product should be avoided.

This is the 4th pair I bought, and the quality is not the same as the last 3 pairs. The tongue isn't as wide so it rubs the front side of my ankle. The laces are shorter by about 3 inches and the finger pull in the back is barely big enough to get your finger in it

Great product and not a bad price considering how much extra you pay in Australia. Just be careful of the size guide, i found this to be not quite right, tried on the right size in Australia which was a 8.5 conversion chart says size should be 10.

Love these boots! I got my first pair of Ariat's two years ago and have worn them EVERY DAY since. I work in a Copy Center and teach motorcycle classes on the weekends and I am on my feet a lot!! Love the fact that these are waterproof (YES THEY ARE!) and so light weight. I also wear these when I ride my motorcycle. These are WAY better than clunky/heavy 'motorcycle' boots that is for sure. Just got a second pair because my first pair is becoming a bit worn, but I still wear 'em!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots!!

Made it a month at work the side where the toe gaurd is just tore from regular use before this i had a pair of romeos that made a year and a half although not as comfortable atleast they did the job,and for less than half the price definitely expected more from ariat...

I had the non-waterproof version previously and really appreciate the added protection offered by the waterproof boots. They are stiffer due to the waterproofing but, now that they are broken in, are quite comfortable with excellent ankle support.

Perfect for chores, schooling in an outdoor arena in the rain, trail riding, and for when you want to save your lace-up Ariat Nitro Paddock Boots for the dry days of summer. Very versatile, convenient, comfortable, and durable. Runs big and wide. In other footwear I wear a woman’s 9.5/10 or men’s 8/8.5. I have worn a pair of these in size 9.5 for a few years, and they were too big but I took up space with an insert and Sole insole. The second pair I ordered was a half size smaller in size 9 and the fit is roomy but a perfect fit. Fits my narrow heel and wider forefoot well. Black with black suede chaps looks great!

I have to start by saying that I LOVE the fit of the terrains, and I have been a loyal Ariat customer my whole adult life. I have tried every Ariat boot I could get my hands on, and because of my wide feet, these are the only boots that reliably fit. It's such a terrible feeling to buy a pair of boots online only to get them home and realize they won't fit. The only reason Ive been hunting for a new option is that I've run through 3 pairs of terrains in 3 years. The spot where the plastic toe guard meets the leather begins to rip. The sole of my newest pair began to come off after two wears. I've since glued it, but for this price, I would hope to get more than a month out of the shoe. Not to mention the amount of waste in producing a boot that will be trashed in less than a year. I would spend more money if I knew of a boot that would actually work for my hard-to-fit feet. As it is now, I'm considering leaving the brand to find a sturdier boot elsewhere.

I bought these boots to use for horseback riding. They rub my ankle in the back even when I wear tall socks, and I always end up with tiny rocks in my shoes when I'm at the barn. I'm not sure how these would hold up as hiking boots if just walking up and down a driveway and in a sand area leads to rocks in the shoes. I decided to keep them and try and break them in to see if that would help, but it hasn't and its too late to return them. Ariat's quality has gone way down in the past few years unfortunately.

I’ve owned a pair of these for a little over a year. They were great at the beginning but the soles are separating from top part of shoe, resulting in water getting in while riding. Not very pleasant, & uncomfortable.

I bought these boots just before a week long pack trip in the mountains. They worked great for riding and hiking. I could have ordered a halfsize smallerbut thick sockstookcare of that. Waterproofalsocame inhandy as we ran into some bogs and snow. My feet stayed dry and comfortable.

I have loved all 3 of my women's Terrains and I usually have a hard time finding boots that are comfortable. I find that I do not even have to really break my Terrains in before wearing them for extended periods of time. I wear them as my regular boots much of the fall and all winter as they are so comfortable and they look nice. I have gotten compliments on how nice they look from friends. I use them to hike as well, although the treads sometimes don't grip as well as the Vibram soles on my regular hiking boots do. I used this new waterproof pair on a horsepacking trip in the Sierra this summer and they were wonderful. I love these boots and hope that they keep making them forever!

I have always worn the same sizewithyour company,theseare a littlewide for my feet even when laced all the way tight, but otherwise fit well. They are perfect for being on your feet around horses everyday, keep my feet dry outside, and are great for riding too!

I ‘ve owned a pair of Aristotle hiking boots previously. I loved them! They were a women’s size 7D. The toe box was roomy. Now I needed a size 8 D. You didn’t have this size in women’s. So I referred to the men’s sizes and ordered a size 7D . There is a big difference between the men’s size D width and the women’s D width. The men’s toe box is narrow and not as rounded or tall. I’m wearing them and hoping they will stretch some.

I was well into my second pair of thee boots when I was in a wicked car wreck and had to have my ankle rebuilt and learn to walk again. I depended on these boots to make that happen. Purchased these in 1996. They have been in the canyon, to the top of Half Dome, parts of the AT, up to Canada canoeing many times. They are still waterproof and soles have not cracked or separated. Time to buy a new pair because there isn't much cushion left inside and my feet are old. Best boots ever.

I have worn these shoes ragged. From endurance riding, to hiking and barn work. They have held up and stayed in good shape. I’m not nice to my shoes and they were put through daily mud, climbing, riding etc. stayed waterproof and tread looks almost new. My second pair and ready for a third!

He's a really nice boots with great mother uppers, good waterproofing and Insulation. But there's absolutely no traction on the bottom. The soul is almost smooth but he's completely lacking in any form of tread. They're unsafe on any surface that's even the least bit slippery. I wish I had noticed this prior to purchasing them and wearing them.

From there work boots to cowboy boots, they are simply the best. I’ve purchased 3 pairs of the waterproof work boots over the last several years. The only issue I’ve ever had is the sole came totally loose and fell off on my second pair of these work boots, both feet, after about a year, but manufacturing issues happen so I immediately went and purchased a new pair. Because I work with horses and in the dirt and mud I always keep them conditioned, but I couldn’t prevent the sole form coming off. Regardless, I love Ariat and will always have them.

I wear Ariat boots about 9 months a year. But when it’s 90 plus degrees I choose to wear shorts. I wore brand name running shoes or hiking shoes. But my feet would ache during the day. I bought these yesterday, so I don’t know how they will hold up, but so far I absolutely love them. I walked about 11k steps the first day and my feet feel great!!!! I’m not saying Ariat is perfect, but my feet haven’t found anything better.

I have been wearing these in black for over a year now. They have been riding, working, in the mud, snow, rain, heat, you name it and felt appropriate every time. They have held up great. They’re also supremely comfortable and supportive. I would repurchase when they do finally give out. The only thing is that the black looks extra dirty after stepping in mud & dirt or horse poo.

Purchased these boots in May 2023. By August they had holes in both toes, the sole was separating from the rest of the shoe I work in a seasonal equine facility, but spend a majority of the time in an office, performing administrative duties. These boots should not have fallen apart so quickly. They are no longer waterproof due to the large holes. I will say they are very comfortable and it makes it that much more dissappointing that they fell apart so quickly. Very dissapointed.

Though I love these boots the cheapo vinyl toe cap completely stressed and stitching failed. I’m not especially hard on boots and these are supposed to be for riding. The rest of the boots are in good condition and only moderately worn, but because of the cheap toe co struction are headed for the trash bin.

I wear Ariat H2O Terrains every day for work. I work at Horse Haven of TN and these boots are comfortable no matter what I'm doing. Horse Haven of TN is the oldest and largest equine welfare organization in the state. In one day I could be helping with bring in, then I'm in the office working on our social media and we never know when we will get a call from local law enforcement to make a pick up. These boots never let me down and they last me for years!

Needed shoes with plenty of support for walking on concrete floors 9 hours a day. Have had ariat boots before but wore them out. Tried other shoes but after one week foot was back to hurting again. Have plantars in one foot that makes regular shoes impossible to wear at work.

These boots were good when I first got them, but as I have worn them for about a year, the support of this boot on my feet is breaking down. I doubt they will last another year. I only use them for going to the store, doctor etc. definitely not every day. I used to really like Ariat but the fit and quality is not as good.

Bought these specifically for harvesting muscadine grapes during the month of August in southwest Georgia. Others told me I'd have to wear rubber boots to keep my feet dry in the mornings and to keep all the bugs out - I listened to them for a week before I got tired of the rubber boots and switched back to these. I should have worn them all along! My feet were dry and insect-free, and were not super sore after hours standing in the heat (they're always a little bit sore, but way less so with Ariat). Definitely recommend!

These boots are awesome. I got them as work boots that could double as barn-duty boots, and they work for both jobs.They keep my feet dryfrom the dewy fields inthe morning and also from the muddy horse pen aftera rain. I love these boots and I would highly recommend them to others!

I have worn these boots everywhere and they always workout for me! They are attractive and comfortable. I must say though the old ones still look pretty decent! I love my Ariat Terrain H20s, but I find that the newer "models" in wide are not as wide as the older pair I finally had to give up becauseof wearandtear.Theyare alsoverystiff, til broken in. Wepeople with extra wide feet need a slightly wider shoe. Please see what you can do to remedy this problem before I need a new pair.

I have had two sets of these boots. I love them because they are comfortable for riding as well as hiking. But one boot on both sets ripped at the toe so it isnt waterproof anymore. This happened on each set only after 6 months! And I only wear them in the mornings....though they do get wet a lot. I would not call these boots very rugged at all.

I bought these six months ago and where them everyday in all conditions. Snow, mud, dirt, rain etc. They have literally gone through quite a lot and have covered a lot of ground. And yet they have very little wear and tear and are exceptionally comfortable. Practical on the ground and practical in a saddle. I’m genuinely impressed. I will get another pair of these any day!

I ordered a pair of Terrain Waterproof boots this month and received them just in time for the polar vortex to hit! I was SO pleased with these boots - they kept my feet totally warm with only one pair of socks, the lacing was an improvement over previous boots I had with zippers which would have failed in cold, and dusty weather. The tred was bombproof walking the icy surface to my barn. These were better than my snow boots! Finally, I did get the chance to ride in them before the storm hit and no complaints there either. I highly recommend these boots for overall horse riding and barn working.

Not many shoes/boots fit me. At Wilco, a gal had these boots on and told me "these are farm boots, the most comfortable boot you will ever put on." I bought a pair and haven't taken them off. Most comfortable shoe/boot i've ever worn. Had them 2 mths and will buy another pair. Highly recommend.

I prefer my regular All Terrains which are lighter and cooler than this model. However, All Terrains soak up moisture and are a poor choice for wet conditions. That's when I switch to this boot. It is hot! It is sturdy! It is immediately broken in and comfortable and has kept its good looks over years of tough use. I keep them waterproof with Snow Seal. Like the All Terrain it won't track mud and manure into the house but it grips rocks and terrain. No grip on snow and ice. Great hiking boot otherwise.

I am often kneeling, so the toe area , over time, gets curled. The shop boots get replaced every year -year and a half. They are excellent hiking boot! Crossing many wet areas, streams! I'm on my feet all day. These boots are as comfortable at the end of the day as they are at the beginning of the day. My concern is with comfort and how the shoe feels...for those of you with aesthetic concerns, the fabric around the ankle and upper portion of the shoe squeaks when walking. They're not a quiet shoe. Despite this, I love the fit and feel and have ordered a second pair!

I bought these for hiking and for cooler temps cleaning stalls. They, and most shoes/boots, are sold in a medium width, & I wear a narrow. I add an insert and wear a thicker sock which makes them work for me. They are becoming more comfortable and the waterproofing works.

I work on a horse farm and was wanting a good boot for everyday wear. Something waterproof, comfortable and durable. I thought Ariat would be the best because in the past I have well loved western boots that lasted forever. Well after only 4 months of everyday use they’re cracking on the sides, the sole is coming apart and are no longer waterproof. If I’m spending this kind of money on any boot I expect better quality from such well respected equine brand. It seems the quality has gone downhill.

I waited too long to purchase- debated if they were worth it..YES THEY ARE!! Comfortable riight out of the box-I have worn them in the single digit temps- through snow- slush-water and my feet are dry and warm with only a light sock! I love the look and that I can ride with these -not bulky and have the slight heel. toe bed is roomy and padding at ankle relieves any discomfort I have had in some boots -I would highly recommend !

What happened to quality control. I purchased 2 of these boots. I have always worn size 6 in ariats. I order size 6. One pair was a too big, heavy socks didn’t help. The other pair was huge!!!!! A friend who wears a 7.5 bought that pair from me. The sizing on the boot was 6.

I bought these as a gift for my niece. She loves them, she works at a horse stable 6 days a week and swears by them. She is on her feet most of the day, keep her feet dry and comfortable. Hold up well to all the abuse she gives them. Seem to be true to size.

I absolutely love these boots! I was nervous I would regret buying expensive boots online without getting a chance to try them on, but they're incredibly comfortable, not chunky-looking, and keep my feet dry in the rain. After wearing them for about 9 months the glue on the seams between the rubber sole and the leather on the outside is showing. Slightly concerning, but no issues yet.

I like these boots. They have a heel for riding horses. They aren't heavy. They fit. The fit is the most important because I have wide feet and arthritis. These work well for me. I've had them a couple of weeks and worn them quite a bit. Now we will see how they hold up.

I work in power plants and in electrical substations where we are required to wear work shoes with upper leather and a slight heel (for ladder climbing). Finding woman's shoes that match is extremely difficult especially if you don't want to wear Frankenboots to work that are so heavy they mess up your knees and make you even more clumsy than you already are. I've been looking for the perfect shoes and I think I found them!! I bought some other Ariat styles and love them too!!!! They are sooooo lightweight, meet the requirements, .....I'm just so happy right now! I will be spreading the word to my fellow female coworkers! I bought 4 pair - just to be sure I have them for the rest of my career.

I bought these boots 2 yrs ago (wear these year round), I live in the woods and am always outside doing yard work/stacking wood and in winter shoveling snow. Was looking for a comfortable hiking style boot. This is the best boot I've ever owned. I was pleasantly surprised they were comfortable right out of the box AND my feet do not get wet !! I will definitely buy these again, but would go half size down , went with my normal size 6 and they are a little big, but works well with thicker socks in the winter. Ariat , Please keep making these boots! oh! one more thing.. they clean up well if you step in poop :-)

I bought these a few years ago and they are rock solid. These are my 'go to' work boot for all my work around the property. I have worn them for countless hours. Took a bit for me to break them in (hence the 4 stars which is more like 4.5) as I have a somewhat narrow heel and I ware them for many hours. Now well broken in I ware them extensively. Waterproofing is very good. In Colorado we get snow...and mud. My feet are always dry in these. And, they are tough! Days of abuse and miss swings with a high RPM weed wacker hitting the boot and not one cut....heck not even a lasting mark. Tough as nails. I use mink oil once a year and these puppies are going to last for a decade or more. Comfort, waterproof, TOUGH, and at very good price. If you are looking for a boot like this...just buy them now.

I love these shoes and will be ordering another pair for the future. Ariat has the most comfortable footwear hands down. They do make your feet sweat, but everything else is excellent!

Light weight, very comfortable. Will use from late spring to early fall. The only time I won't wear these is mud fall, ice/snow and muddy early spring - these boots have nominally zero tread so it's like walking on an ice skating Rink. That said, getting +/- 1/2 year of hiking use is pretty, pretty good.

Very comfortable, great fit, only complaint is the shoelaces wearing out a couple months in but those were easily (and cheaply) replaceable. I think if I had washed and conditioned them every now and again they would have lasted even longer as it was mostly the stitching wearing out that got me to replace them; going to try conditioning this pair more to see if that helps. Love them!!

This is my second pair of waterproof terrains. The first had to be retired after many years because I finally wore the outside heel down to levels not great for leg and back support. Since they lasted so long I got the second pair. They fit well even with heavy socks. They have great support for my high arches. And importantly since I walk in all kinds of weather, they are waterproof.

These boots are super comfortable for all-day wear and keep my feet dry even when slogging through ankle-deep snow+, mud etc. Also great at keeping my feet warm. So comfortable I even went for a short run in them! Their waterproof nature does mean that they don’t breathe as well as non-waterproof boots, so the only downside to These is that after wearing them for awhile my feet get pretty sweaty. I typically wear a 11-12 women’s shoe, narrow and these fit me very well in a size 11B.

I was absolutely blown away by the quality and life of these boots. I have plantar fasciitis and have custom orthotics, but did not need them for the first 4 months I owned these. These are worn every day and I usually get somewhere between 7500 and 10,000 steps a day, plus a few hours of standing. They have held up for an entire year and even my last pair of wolverines only lasted 9 months. I like them so much I am buying another pair, although I'm going a half size smaller as they are true to size and not a smidge smaller like I saw in other reviews

I have almost no complaints about my boots! I'm on my feet all day long and my feet don't hurt when I get home after working 8-12 hours. The only thing is they get hot, but that doesn't bother me since my feet aren't aching like in other shoes I have bought for work in the past. I highly recommend these boots!!

I am now on my third pair of these boots. I have never owned a more veristle or rugged boot. They are comfortable for work and riding, you can wearthemallday with out aproblem. I havealsotakenthem onseveral hiking and backpacking trips, never failed me once. After 20 miles with a 20lb pack I still have happy feet!

I started wearing these boots when I was endurance riding, so I know that I can wear them for 24 hours if necessary and my feet will still be in good shape. Now I use them for workboots in the cattleyards because of the extra support they give my ankles when I am twisting and turning. I only have one pair of feet so I try to be kind to them!

I have these boots going on 5 years now And even the laces are still original ! I wear them almost every day especially in colder weather. I throwthem inthewasher(not thedryer) And have them conditionedat Equine Affaire every year. Wish that they came in black as well. Love them !

The boot has a lot of features (waterproof, riding heel, ankle protection) and is comfortable and able to handle both warm and cold weather well. It is a good solid boot for the money and outshines many pricier versions. Size runs a little big.

I work on a horse farm and wear these boots at least 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. My feet and back are never sore after a day of work. Ihave gone through3 pairs of theregular terrains and finallytrieda pair of H2O. The regular boots only lasted 2-3 months, and I finally blew out this pair at 5 months. My only complaint is that the leather seperates from the rubber and continues to rip. The rubber on the heel also shreds pretty quickly from the horses stepping on them all day. I wish I could get more months out of these boots before they finally give out.

I am replacing a 7 year old pair of Ariat's (Think they are Tellurides) that I am very attached to, but are starting to show their age, although waterproof and comfy (just needed a new pair for that retirement day for my old ones). I was very happy to get my new boots and find that they are equally comfortable and although I was disappointed they didn't offer Grey suede, like my old ones, the copper color is really sharp looking. I haven't worn them to ride in yet, but I am sure they will be as fantastic as my old pair!! I HIGHLY recommend these boots for riding. P.S. I bought my husband a pair, he liked them so much, he bought a second pair, just to kick around in!!

I have loved my Terrain H2O's since I first put them on my feet at the Stoney Creek booth at the Evergreen State Fair 3years ago! I am a fair momand Ispendmanyhours walkingto and from horse barns.Theyhavebeenmy go to boots for every horse show and fair since. They truly are waterproof because this Spring I wore them on a hike where I ended up walking through a swamp in the rain. When we got back my clothes were soaked but my socks and feet were dry!!!! I finally decided it was time to tell the world how much I love these boots this week after I spent Wendesday morning helping fight the fire on my sister's family ranch. They were caught in the Taylor Bridge fire. I spent 5 hours walking on burning and smoldering duff putting out hot spots and stopping flair ups. Again my boots did not fail me. I was tired but my feet felt great and to my amazement my boots, although covered in ash and smelling a bit like a fire, seem to be no worse for wear. I tell everyone I can how great these boots are. When I replace these it will be with a new pair of Terrain H2O's! Thanks for making such great boots.

I purchased these shoes in the wide width so I had room to wear my wool socks during the winter months. Very comfortable, good arch support and water proof to trudge through the snow! Glad I purchased these shoes!

I spend a lot of time working outdoors on our farm, so I need a boot that is comfortable for both standing and walking, plus warm and waterproof with goodtraction. Thisboot is perfect. Runs alittlewide, but I do have narrow feet and just wear thick socks.

For 2.5 winters I have ridden a bike in the cold Canadian Prairie winter with these on. With a pair of quality socks they are good for 30 minutes at -20 Celsius and have ridden at -35 C. Have walked thousands of kilometers and ridden more in these boots. Great on ice walking and the rubber sole with heal is what a bike rider needs.

All Terrain waterproof boots are a must have for anyone who spends long hours on their feet; particularly on concrete (at a cattle feedlot for example). They reduce back pain and absorb shock so that knees & hips don't ache either. You can tread in mud and manure and your feet won't get wet, give the boots a quick rinse and some grease every now & then and they will last a long time!

I bought these boots late last year and have worn them almost daily since! I work at a dog boarding kennel and these boots have carried me through many days work. I also wear them for riding once a week and they’ve held up wonderfully and broken in so nicely. The laces have worn down a bit and I’m a bit worried they might break, but the shoes themselves have stood up to a myriad of situations and haven’t failed me yet. Very happy with my purchase!

I’m new to riding and taking care of horses, and I had been looking for a boot I could wear in the barn, in the muddy spring pasture, and on horseback. I wear these with half chaps, and I’m so happy! I haven’t been stepped on yet while wearing these, but I’m guessing they will be better than my bogs in that respect! They did run large for me. I wear a 9.5-10 in sneakers/running shoes, and a 9 fit me in these. I wouldn’t use these hiking as the sole is appropriately designed for riding and doesn’t have as much grip as a hiking boot.

I had a pair that were recycled into barn boots, but the ankle support and padding are excellent. I developed a heel spur on the bottom of my foot last spring. We were taking a cruise to northern Canada, so I needed some good and comfortable footwear. Immediately knew I needed the H20 Terrain boots. My local saddle shop did not have my size, but Shepler's did, and they were on sale! Thanks!

Comfortable right out of box. I am picky about comfort. Have some issues with feet. I wear a 7.5 in other shoes, needed the 7. Return was very easy. Compared Scout paddock ( great feel, but thought the Terrain was better for my situation). I will use for riding, working in garden etc…and add the half chap.

Great boots to wear year round around the barn or the backyard, no breaking in, very comfortable, they run a little big so order your regular size. Ariat never disappoints, their boots are always well made and last for ever.

I love these boots, although I really wish you still made the zipper ones. So much easier at the barn with zippers. I've been buying Ariat's for years and have never had a complaint until the last boots I purchased. They were a waterproof pro boot that came up higher on the ankle.....they didn't last as long as previous purchases. The zipper totally broke and the leather split. I notice you no longer offer that boot. Thank Goodness!!

I just don't understand why the wide width is available in every size, all the way up thru 9! but when you get to the size I need? 10? wide? it is not available. why? do the machines just not make shoes for Frankenstein women or what? sorry my giant foot is too wide, but... that is what I wear! it would be lovely to be able to get the correct size! I would and have recommended these boots! especially if you don't have big wide feet!

I had a pair I bought 2 years ago, and they are comfortable to work in all day. I work at a stable and although you can’t wear them in mud and expect your feet to stay completely dry, they will hold up to puddles and rain. Perfect for all day. They are sturdy, and definitely worth it. I also ride in these. I have pairs of the regular terrains and those I have a pair for work and a pair for running errands. Definitely recommend !

I bought these to use while I work as a working student at a horse farm, doing: turnouts, cleaning stalls, washing horses and buckets, climbing in the hay loft and horseback riding. I wanted to do a variety of things over different terrains, have no pain while walking around a lot, and then ride without having to swap shoes. I have a bit of pain on the pads of my feet, but the toe box is nice and roomy, so I can add a gel pads. They were unexpectedly a little slippery when I climbed a metal ladder (the soles were possibly a little damp from my other work). They feel comfy in english style stirrups. I did not have any blistering until broken in like I did with my Jodhpur boots by the same manufacturer. My feet do sweat a lot and either from inside the shoe or outside the shoe conditions, they now smell damp and musty after about 5 days of usage spread out over a two week period. I guess its hard to do waterproof and breathable in one. The moisture wicking is not enough for me.
