very tight & stif at top. makes them very uncomfortable. very disappointed. definitely not what i was expecting ☹️

I'm an adult novice rider... been using hiking boots till now when I take classes. So far the scouts have been a big improvement. Very comfortable even without my custom orthotics. And they've made it easier to keep my heels low. Easy to put on and pair with the half chaps. I didn't have a problem with sizing chart... fit was fine as received.

I was a bit worried about the pricing, but after receiving it and wearing it for the past few weeks, I can see it was clearly worthwhile! The leather is soft and comfortable, and had softened to my foot. It's also easy to clean off after a long dusty day, and keeps all the water out! The only thing I would say is that after a lot of action the zipper might slip down a bit. It's never slipped all the way open, just a bit at the top, but it would be cool to see a mechanism to fix it in place in the future! I really love how comfortable and nice it feels though. Absolutely would recommend. I got a size six and it fit perfectly.

Bought these a little more than 2 years ago. Wore them for maybe 2 months. Brought them out today to clean up and wear.. while applying leather polish, the leather (?? Over fabric) coating on the tongue of one boot literally crumbled and peeled off. Does not affect functionality of boot... can't even say it is cosmetic as you cannot see it when zipped. It was just a bit disappointing and surprising... I'd expected a little better quality. The right side has a little spot that appear as though the same thing will happen... so I will not be cleaning up further.

Bought these a couple days ago. So comfy that I really didn't need to break them in. The inside is slightly padded and these are by far the greatest boots I have owned. My tall boots that are also Ariat have lasted forever and I am hoping these will too! These are super easy to clean. I have also never used the zip style with paddock boots and I have always used laces but these fit my feet perfectly...not the usual looseness of zip boots that I have tried on

I used to own a pair of Ariat paddock boots that are sadly no longer in production. Those things could take a beating. These lasted 1 year before the zipper gave out. It just locks up and I can’t zip the boot fully closed. They’re also not very secure in the ankle and tight across the instep. Overall not worth it.

My granddaughter wore these paddock boots at her riding lesson this week and they were oerfect in every way.

I am new to riding and wanted some good boots and these were exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly not too tight or narrow.

Such a sleek and comfortable boot, I love it. It cleans easily. Fits perfectly, true to size. I’m a first time horseback rider and this boot it’s making my experience even more enjoyable than it already is. ☺️

I love these boots. The only complaint I would have is that the calf area is super small. So being a new boot, they are going to be super stiff and it is uncomfortable at first. Other than that, the material quality is great!

The tongue on both boots is peeling and the color is rubbing onto my socks. Not sure if it's worth it to replace the tongue by a cobbler with real leather.

I go to a camp for two weeks with tons of riding and barn work, and these boots were comfortable and lasted through the whole thing! Great buy

I bought this style of boot when my old Heritage IV zip-ups were finally too thrashed to continue. I figured I'd give these a shot since they were so much less and look and feel nearly identical. At this point, I've had them for nearly a year and they still look brand new! They clean up well, are super comfy, and seem to be just as durable as every other pair of Ariat boots I've owned. Looking forward to years of good use out of these!

I bought a pair of these last month and they are comfortable. I love the zipper and have retired my old pull on boots that were a struggle to get on and off. I ride a lot and enjoy these for both riding and working around the stable. Thank you Ariat for the quality and the fair price.

Got these last month and have worn them to do chores and ride multiple times. Great for riding western or English. They break in quick and are nice and comfy. Definitely would recommend!

The fit was a tad large but good for my high instep foot. I wish the ankle part was a little wider as it is very snug on my leg, even with the elastic inserts. It is comfortable and love the front zipper option.

I've worn these boots to the barn daily for over 4 years. Mud, dirt, dust, poop, water - it doesn't matter. They hold up. They're comfortable to wear, offer great ankle support and the zipper has been flawless. If you're looking for a sturdy paddock boot that's great for riding or barn chores, this one is it!

I've bought these boots twice now in the past 15 years. They each lasted about 8 years with regular riding (3-4 days per week) and lots of wear and tear otherwise. They are lightweight and cool for the hot summers but still plenty supportive. I hope they never stop making them!

These are my first pair of paddock boots and I absolutely love them. From the first day I put these boots on they have been so comfortable. I wear them with below the ankle socks and they are still extremely comfortable. Definitely would recommend them.

I have a fairly narrow foot so I need to wear a substantial sock with these and the Dan Post socks I ordered with the boot work perfectly! Nice looking boot and keeps the dust from the riding arena away from my ankles. Great value too!

We bought a pair for a friend recently too and they are working great. Correct sizing is important because if fitted well they fit to your foot like a glove.

My old pair had thicker leather and a better fit. It was cut above the ankle. Could not find that model so got the paddock boot. Was too narrow so I went up a size and a half for more comfort but longer toe now, still a comfortable fit. Until I wore them for a day. the upper cuts into my calf all around. So now I can't wear for more than a few hours at a time. I have thin to average sized calves so wondering when Ariat designed this model did they not try them on to shorten the height or taper it in? I gave it 3 stars as it seems like a durable boot and easy to slip on and zipper up, minus 2 stars for the issue above.

I didn't have to break these in at ALL! So comfortable, you can just focus on your ride. Very impressed.
