I am still breaking these in. But it’s the second pair Ive owned. Im a woman with slightly wide feet. I find Ariat too narrow as a rule. But if I buy their men’s boots for some reason I can order wide and they are perfect. Like everything else, apparently there is no variety in women’s feet so we are not offered choices and have to make do. Im also 5’10” and can hardly ever find pants tall enough and slim enough. Go figure. Fashion industry: news flash. Women buy more of your stuff. Start giving us size variety and real pockets! At any rate my last pair served me well as work boots for years and I’m sure these will too. Break in period is to soften the extremely supportive ankle area which is good and tall!

I've had these boots for six years yes six years and they finally started to come apart I have never been happier with a pair of boots was going g to have them resoled but for what they want to repair I'll just buy me some new ones .

This is my third pair of Cascade Work Boots and I love the way the fit and wear. I wish you would bring back the dark ( I call it chocolate brown) color of leather that I had as my first pair of Cascades.

Like all Ariat boots, well made, quality leather and workmanship and these are quite affordable. I had to send them back because the instep was a little too tight and I wasn't sure if it would break in enough to be fully comfortable. I ended up getting the Workhog waterproof boot which turns out has a wider fit around the instep and fit perfectly. Again, these Workhogs are of even better quality than my 12 year old pair that finally gave it up, with larger grommets and lace hooks. I don't think you can get a better pair of boots than Ariat. I'm a big fan.

What’s up with the poor availability on this great boot ?

I have bought these boots before for my husband and he is pleased!

These are some of the easiest broke in and comfortable boots I have ever owned. But I can't believe a company that makes this good of a bootwouldnot spendaquarter extraand put a pull loop on the back oftheboot.They are very hard to get on without a loop to get a hold of. I took mine to a leather shop and had a pull loop and now they are a very good boot.

This boot had a very short break in period, as the leather came already supple. I put off buying an over the ankle work shoe for so long because I couldn't find one that didn't rub my ankles raw. These feel great! They are true to size, comfortable, and truly waterproof (without causing foot sweat). I recently had to work all day in standing water, and when I took the boots off my socks were just as I had put them on in the morning! The only downside so far has been heel blisters during a 7 mile backpacking trip. I'm not too concerned about this however since I didn't buy these for that purpose. I'll give these 5 stars if they are still holding up after a year and a half. I can be hard on footwear.

These boots are comfortable and fit well I love the way they matches with my work attire.

I like these boots for the price. They actually hold up well. I usually resole them with Vibram once the soles need it. Make for a better boot. They need a pull tab on the back. That is the 0nly thing i dislike.

Having bone spur and swollen feet joints, it is hard to find a not that works well for me. Also having the support with a lace up boot was important for me. After years of trying a different brand of boots each year it was satisfying to wear the Ariat brand.

Chosen by son as the best boots he would wear and would like another extra pair.

The only boots my husband will let me get him!!! His first pair lasted him 6 years and this man is rough on boots! So, I bought two pairs this time.

I bought these boots for their slip resistance with the intension of using these for work and went with waterproof so I could use them for hiking or camping if needed. Ive ended up using these boots to play disc golf during this quarantine and more than a few of the courses are extremely waterlogged and have thick high grasses that I'm kicking through. So far they have been amazing! Not a scratch on my ankles and heels; or a drop of water on my feet. These boots are very rugged and will get you through all of the thick.

Not worn extensively yet, but these boots appear to be as good as the similar Justin boot. One difference is that the sole of the Ariat boot is thicker and a little heavier. The Ariat boot is quite snug when putting on for the first time, but should stretch out and the insole will compress to loosen up a bit and be more comfortable. I like to color and finish. I expect them to last several years in use on the farm in South Dakota, through all seasons.

It's the most comfortable thing i've ever put my foot in period. I'm an older retired gentleman, not a working guy, but this boot is what you need if you want comfort. A younger gal at the gas station the other day said, "Hey, that's a nice pair of boots." I'm 70. That gal was lusting after my boots not me. But she's right.

Ive bought these boots every 2 years after HEAVY work and home use. The leather is superb, nearly waterproof. Sole of the shoe provides great archprotection,cantsay enoughgood about them. I just prayAriat keeps making them, favorite boot of all time.

Dont get me wrong, ive always worn Cascades but for some reason, these were my most uncomfortable ones. I had some piece of leather pinching me on my top right foot. I tried to break em in as much as I could. Worked in the water one night on like my 8th time wearing them and next day I had to let em dry out. Somehow my toe caved in on both sides. Now when I wear them, I could feel an indent on both sides. And here I have never dropped anything on the outer toe. I cant show a photo since it is on the inside but its there. Has this happened to anyone?

I got these for my husband for where he hauls logs at and he loves the brand. These boots will definitely last for a long time and serve him well.

I have worn out several pairs of these work boots. They are comfortable when new and remain that way through out their life. They are rugged, the fit is excellent and the cost is reasonable.

Very disappointed I order a 10 D like my boots I bought before when I got them they were to small they said 10 D. I say don't order on line I had to reorder I hope a 11 EE won't be to big I hope it will be right. The boots I got were to tight length and width. Now I have to wait 4 weeks or more to get my new boots after waiting 3 week the first time not happy.

bought cascades because they got rid of hermosa cobalts that i wore fore lots of years very disapointed gave them away and am looking for a new brand of boot to start buying why would you stop making in my opinion the most Comfortable boots you made

Boots are not bad at all for the price. They are definitely waterproof and look like they will hold up. The boots do not have a pull tab which is a bummer. All my Justin lace ups have pull tabs which make them a lot easier to put on. That’s the only think I would change. Leather is definitely on the cheap side but still not bad for the price.

I am on my second pair of Cascades. I manage a Vineyard, and the hillside location is very demanding. These boots meet the challenge year-round and are a pleasure to wear. I have had custom made White's boots in the past for four times the cost of Ariat. The Ariat boots are by far the better boot. Thank you for a better fitting, lighter, tough boot. I rarely online review products, but Santa wife asking for list and I jumped online to look similar but lighter Ariat boots. I am extremely pleased with my 8" Cascade lace up H20 work boots. High quality leather well constructed with handsome look and very comfortable, best worn in cooler weather which is reason for looking. I am sure I will find what I need in the Ariat products

I used the print out sizing guide and it proved very true for me. The only reason I felt comfortable ordering online was because of the free shipping both ways. In terms of fit, it holds my heel in place quite well. I wear these boots with Darn Tough socks (honestly won't wear any others). So far they have held up to some heavy rainstorms. The only issue I had was the gusset that attaches the tongue. It rubbed my inner ankles and made them sore. This issue is not unique to these boots for me, in about a weeks time in hot weather, the issue is null and void.

Comfortable, short break in. The structure of them seems strong waterproofing is good no leaks I'm happy with the boots. I have wide feet with a high arch so they are a little snug but the sizing is on point

On my 5th pair of Ariat Ropers now. One of the best uninsulated boots on the market. Tough enough for the mud and rocks encountered during site work and comfortable enough to be on the concrete slab all day once you are out of the mud. Waterproof day in and day out for the life of the boot.

Great work boot. Great support and comfort for my narrow foot. I like the lacers because I can adjust the support of the ankle to where I like it. I wore them for years and then couldn't find them for a while. I'm glad they are back. Only downside is the tongue sometimes gets bunched up when tying them and presses on my ankle. It must be necessary for the waterproof part. Maybe a thinner piece of leather for the tongue would be better. After a few weeks they are broken in good though.

Boot fits great but I made a huge mistake on buying the waterproof model. Feels like I am wearing a plastic bag on my foot. Absolutely non breathing boot.

My husband wore these boots 2 days and they smell aweful! My husband's feet never ever have smelled. I even went and purchased new socks and that didn't help at all. Not sure why these boots are like this. He typically always wore Justin brand and they never did this. Now I am out the money for boots that smell so bad, he has to leave them outside.

You can not go wrong with this boot, it is comfortable and strong. I have had these for a year and beside normal wear these boots have held up great. I will be buying another pair of these.

Have had these boots for a while but just started wearing them more frequently. The soles are separating all around on both soles. the rest of boot is like new but are now unusable. Both my wife & I have a pair of Ariat Terrain Lacers & have had no problems with them. Very disappointed in these boots.
