I love my Ariat, but for some reason this specific style required a longer break-in time than my WorkHog XT Work Boots and my Big Rig Work Boots. Both of those required almost no break-in period. With the WorkHog Work Boots unfortunately I had to wear only for a few hours then switch to other work shoes until they were fully broken in which was far more of a hassle. For reference I walk a guaranteed 7,500-10,000 to steps a day on concrete, gravel, and climbing ladders. In general Ariat will last me a little over a year (1 year, 2 or 3 months) before the sole starts to really show wear and the liner will rip. The Timberland Pros I used to use prior to switching to Ariat would start to have the sole separate from the shoe at about the 6 month mark, and cloth liner would wear through and absolutely ruin the foam beneath before the 1 year mark. The Merrells before that started to have issue with the soles between 4-6 months. In my experience the Ariat work boots have been significantly more durable for only a little bit higher upfront cost.

Heavy duty boots. Not good for a lot of walking on uneven ground, but great for walking in moderate ground, fields, garages, etc. wearing them for a couple weeks. When I can keep my socks pulled up I love them. They are water proof, I e tested them working in shallow creeks cleaning clogged culverts. And already hit them with barbed wire no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work a lot in wet environments and these boots are perfectly waterproof. The composite toe is exactly what you want. It doesn't get to hot or to cold. These have been the best boots. The toe is wide which is also great so you don't wreck your feet.

Have had these for 7 months...my primary footwear now. I did buy Dr. Scholls work insoles for even better comfort. Working outdoors in sub freezing temps, I went with a half size larger to accomodate thicker socks...so far my feet have never been cold.

The boots are great. They fit well and are stylish.

I am very happy which these boots. I have worn them for 2 weeks now and love them. They fell good and look great.

boot these a year and a half ago and still kicking. Nd still Waterproof to a point considering the wear and tear plus chemicals they come in contact with. Probably will last a total of 2-3 years at this rate which is good for what they go through.

Had for many years works good for me as a truck driver

My first pair lasted 3-4 years until my work compromised the waterproofing. I was able to stand in 8-9 inches of water to mid up storm structures. When the water proofing wore off from scratch’s and what not I bought another pair but within 6-8 months the interior liner separated from the boot making it take up to 10-15 minutes to get one boot off. I contacted airboat of the problem. But never got any reply. My dumb self thinking it might have been that pair I bought another set and the same thing happened. The quality of these boots went down dramatically from when I bought the first pair in 2018!!

Bought boots a couple weeks ago. So far they are holding up well and definitely waterproof (stood in some puddles to test). I tried many different companies of boots and Ariat (along with Caterpillar) had the best fit for a slip on boot. Roomy but still clung to the heal to prevent slippage. Break in period was 2 days of slight discomfort and now they are good. I would have preffered a half size smaller in a wide option but it is difficult to get my heel in (very easy to take off). This is my only concern as i can see it wearing the heel in overtime when i struggle to get it on (may buy a long shoe horn to see if it helps). So now the boot is a bit too roomy for the work i do so they will be for the slow days.

Brought these for my grandson, he was very pleased with them he said they felt good on his feet he wears them ever day. I’m sure we will be buying more.

He gets home and his feet are dry even though it's pouring outside. Only tough part was that he had to break them in but once he broke them in, these have been his everyday work boots!

3rd pair of boots like this, however these new ones don't seem as well built as my old ones. Not sure if they have some type of coating but stuff started flaking off of the boots immediately just from my jeans rubbing against them. Good boots but expensive for that to be happening.

Trut to size. Extremely comfortable. First day wearing I was ankle deep in mud and proved they're waterproof. So far I like them better than my Red Wings.

I install natural gas lines and tear through boots. These hold up well to daily abuse and still keep the water out. Very comfortable too.

I'm on my 3rd pair of these workhog boot. They are the best work boots I've had and I've tried dozens. these lasted me 8 months at work and up to a year sometimes but the insole is usually shot by then. No other boot has last longer than 6 months for me

I’ve owned several pairs of boots from different brands, but I bought these boots to wear at work while I was in the automotive service industry. They broke in great, and were very comfortable from the start. Overall I love them and it will be my boot of choice when I buy my next pair!!

I have had these before. It is a tough boot, with lots of toe room. I like the composite toe, which will help keep your toes from getting crushed.

I have had these boots for about 2 years now and the have pleased m well. I don't put them under extreme stress, but I still treat them as work boots because that is what they are. They have up very well compared to the pair wolverine's I previously had. They are a little big on my feet but I have high arch and a narrow foot.

Very durable and a great fitting boot that last a long time.

This is my third pair in two years. Same size as before however the latest I can not get off unless I have a long shoe horn. Not sure what changed. Very aggravating.

These are some of the best boots I have found. I'm a bigger guy with wide feet so finding boots are hard. I tried these on and I was blown away from them feeling so comfortable from just trying them on. The U turn design on these boots make it easy to get these boots on and off. Great job Ariat on making boots for the big men out here that are working to provide for their families and loved ones.
