Best boots I've ever had. Comfortable once broken in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase these boots on 10/16/2024 from a major local store, they are very comfortable and easy to pull up considering my high ins step. I wear them every two weeks for 12 hour shifts, no issues at first, but once I introduce them to light rain or small puddles of water it did not go well, the bottom of my feet began with a light moisture and progressively worsen, I can only use the boots on dry surfaces period. The socks and feet smell is very undesirable to say the least. One of the main reasons I purchased these boots was being waterproof to some degree but not at all. Contacted the vendor and was told that they could not do anything after 30 days and the boots had to be in near new condition in other for them take them back to resell them. The boots do not have any damage to them.

This was my first pair of Ariat work boots. I've had several pairs of Ariat Ramblers and love them, so I thought I'd give the WorkHogs a shot. They were very hard to get on/off until they were broken in, now they're on/off with ease. The U-Turn entry does help, but it was a struggle at first. After about three months, the left heal began to make a clicking noise when I walk, and it almost feels like my left heel bottoms out. The other concern is with the insoles, which are coming apart in both boots. My job is primarily at a desk, but I'm required to wear protective toes when walking around the facility. I wouldn't have expected these issues with the relative light use I put them through. The exterior of the boots seem to be holding up very well, and they've kept my feet dry in wet conditions. Aside from the internal issues, they are comfortable boots. I originally liked them so much I immediately bought a pair of 10036002, so I'm hoping the issues with my original WorkHogs is not an ongoing concern with the Ariat brand of work boots.

The way the shape of the heel is on the boots it starts to rub against the hill and makes it uncomfortable after a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking boot, fit is a little snug even with getting EE width sizing. That’s my problem though, nothing wrong with the boot itself. Little tight while breaking in but better in the long run. Will be purchasing another pair whenever these wear out.

Fits at my normal size. Comfortable and all around a nice clean boot.

I’ve had 5 pairs of work hogs over the last 5 years. The last pair I got were the new work hog xt carbon toe. First 4 months they were good but now the inner liner of the heal is loose and you can’t get you’re foot out without jamming you’re hand inside the boot by you’re heal and holding the liner, no more just kick off the boots like the last 4 pair. Been dealing with this for 2 months now, going to have to get new boots and probably going to switch brands because I don’t want to deal with this again. The old ones were a lot better should have kept one of my old pair of I knew this was going to happen.

just got these last week and in the process of breaking them in, they feel better every day i put these on

I bought these boots in April. Went through a couple of pairs trying to find the right size. 11EE was too big 10.5EE was too small. Went with the 10.5 EE. Had neck surgery in May was out of work till Aug. Now the inside liner is coming out of the left boot and there is a clicking noise from under the heel. Disappointing, since I have been a loyal customer for a long time with many pairs of boots purchased. I know that it’s not personal but something has changed.

It fits well and is one of the more comfortable work boots I have ever owned.

Love Ariat boots. Comfortable right out of the box, no huge break in time

Had to return for a half size smaller because the heel lift was too much. Comfortable boots cant speak on durability yet. Only gripe is that the top of the boots rub on my calf if i dont have my socks run up that far. Also the boots do look sick

I always wear ariat boots so i decided to get a pair of workhog xt with a carbon toe.. i noticed the left boot carbon toe was off it will scrach the top of my foot . And also i was wearing my boots in a rainy day and i stepped in a small pothole and as i was walking i noticed my feet were wet. The comfort of the boots only last for like 2 months then you have to keep buying insoles.

Purchased these boots about a month ago & they've been put to the test with all the wet weather we have been having. Proud to say they've stood up to their waterproof rating and been comfortable for all day wear.

2nd pair of these boots. Love them. Good work boot.

Great quality boots but the color is misrepresented on the website. They are way darker than the pictures. I wouldn't have purchased if I had known they were this dark

I have used these boots for the last 4 years and my most recent purchase has not let me down at all. These boots fit well and still feel great by the end of the shift. I have been recommending these to everyone I know and so far everyone is impressed.

Nice boots. Doesn't seem like there are replacement insoles available in the extra wide. That's the only negative feedback...

Love the comfortability of the boot. But the heel is trash a week after I bought them it released and it’s like a suction cup when I try to take my foot out. Both feet. Been dealing with it for a year and I want to buy another pair cause they’re so comfortable but hoping they fixed the heel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started wearing Ariat work boots they're about the only boots I wear anymore. But the last couple pair of boots I've bought have left something to be desired. One pair the sole came completely off both boots after six months use. The recent pair I just bought less than a month ago don't fit the same. The left boot is great no complaints, but the right boot is loose almost feels like it's a bigger size, my foot slides around while I'm walking, and after a few hours of wear it starts to hurt the ball of my foot.

Great work boots that fit like a glove! The carbon toe is perfect for construction sites. Waterproof just an extra bonus!!

Work are a perfect fit like always, I've been using these boots for the past 6+ years and wouldn't change them for any other style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy work boots. Good material. They're very comfortable for about 6-8 months. After that i recomend getting some inserts. They should last about a year and half. I only give them 3 stars because ive found it easy to roll your anlke in them. I work in wearhousing and i have to walk on dock plates a lot. Ive never rolled my anlke so much before these boots. If you do out door activities, be carfull of stepping to the side!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't brag enough about these books, I bought my first pair I believe back in 2010 and have never looked back when it when comes to work boots. Break in takes a couple of days. Durable: Rain, snow, sleet, or shine these boots will take a beating as long as you take care of them (clean and oil) You won't regret getting a pair for yourself. Comfortable: I'm on my feet from sun up to sundown and I cover a variety of terrines throughout the day.

Less than a year out from owning these boots. My feet are aching and there’s a large hole in the toe of the boot. If I step in a puddle my foot is soaked. The brand seems great but if you’re a heavy equipment field mechanic, DO NOT spend your money on Ariat. Buy Brunt for half the price.
