Good boot if you’re in a warm climate, terribly slippery boots in winter, I live in North Dakota, I have to be extra careful walking to and from job sites with out falling on my butt. Summer time they are a good boot, do not recommend for winter work as I have slipped twice just today and would like another option of boot but hesitant to buy other boots, if they are all slippery soles. I’ve had this pare for 2 winters now and same problem, guess I’m the idiot for keeping them this long

The boots were well put together, but the rubber scuff guards on side of boots were discolored, looked odd so I returned them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for work boots that will hold up for everyday work outside and run equipment. I order the overdrive they said take 3to6 weeks, got them in early that was great. The brake in for them is alittle long but goes to show they will be good boots. I would say they run alittle big so I sent one back and order another but it was all good.

I have owned this boot for over two years now. It’s been definitely put to the test as my jobs has changed. This boots seen mud concrete asphalt and other unknowns materials. As my new job is now an hydovac operator this boot spends most days submerged in mud and water. And it’s still going strong.

I’m a tractor mechanic, I’ve bought my second pair of stoat boots 6 months ago after my first pair wore out after two years, this pair the soles are coming apart but the tops look like new. For the money I would expect them to last the same as the first ones. Not happy with them at all

This is my second pair of this brand / model work boot. The first pair lasted a little over two years, enduring fuel, gas, road salt and sand. Because of the comfort and durability, I decided to stick with what has worked for me.

I have had these boots for a few weeks now after having a pair of Cody James composite toe for only 2 months before I couldn't wear them any more. These boots feel like slippers and are so comfortable. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their ruggedness, but I have enjoyed them thus far.

Decent boot. Bought my regular size after trying on. I didn't anticipate them to stretch as much as they did. I ended up having to purchase another pair a half size smaller for a better fit. They don't stay new looking long.. These are two months old compared to new.

Terrible boots

These boots are the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I bought them while was working to restore power out in Iowa and it was the worst mistake I’ve made. They destroyed my feet. My back started hurting everyday until I went back with my good old la sportiva’s that are three years old and wore out and broke down. I use mink oil and bees wax and the leather is still breaking down in less than 6 months. These will not hold up to building power lines

Comfortable but not durable
never again
Mar 9, 2021
I bought these boots a month ago and I will admit they are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. Unfortunately they're already starting to come apart. these will be my first and last pair of ariat work boots I will be going back to red wings as soon as these finish falling apart!

Once i cut the tounge out where it connected to the boot itself they felt better breaking them in more i didnt where them
For about a year because of how uncomfortable but they are better if uncut out the tounge but might bot last as long i plannin getting them restitched where i cut it out

I’m a rail car loader so I’m walking grates, gravel, concrete, mud, water you name it and they held up phenomenally, but I do have to admit you have to get through break in before they are comfortable, but it’s not a super uncomfortable duration, if you have wide feet like me then these are definitely a good consideration for your next boot

The first 2-3 weeks of getting these boots were miserable not going to lie. Now I am in week 4 and they are some of the most comfortable boots I’ve owned now that they are broken in. They are a little warm in September but are going to be perfect now that it’s getting colder. Durability so far they seem like they’ll last longer than 9 months, average lifespan of my other boots.

If your looking for a good boot this is it. The only thing I can say that a little bit negative about them is the are hotter than your average boot. But I would rather be hotter with being waterproof and as supportive as they are.

They run big so go half size smaller. The Hooked eyelets hurt when you tie them and no they are not tightened too much I have tried them lose and still they hurt

until you break them in they are snug at the ankle. The waterproofing is no joke, I'm a service mechanic and have spent the last 2 weeks in the pouring rain, socks still dry. Insoles are really comfortable as well
