best boots ever owned. had several pair of durangos, great work boot, but the ariats are so comfortable!! my buddy turned me on to them, he's worn pair after pair for who knows how many years. i'll never buy another brand. great comfort, great fit, great style. i'll write about durability when i buy another pair!

I've always worn Justin name brand, and decided to try Ariat. My first pair is definitely now my favorite. I wear boots all day, every day and these are definitely very comfortable. I like the padding inside the boot, it can make for easier walking at the end of a day. I also like how these feel more solid (and slightly heavier) than the Justin boots have in the past. It's pretty safe to say that this will not be my last pair of Ariats The only challenge was that normally I wear "D" widths, but had to go to a "EE" for this pair. It may just be how these are made, or it may be an Ariat thing. Doesn't matter as long as they fit and feel good.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. He said they were a bit snug on the first wearing but in a few hours they had conformed to his feet and they were very comfortable and the flexing of the sole was great. He said he was very happy with them and has worn them every day since receiving them. I had to contact Sheplers customer service about the delivery of my order and they were extremely helpful getting my issue resolved. I will definitely be doing business with Sheplers again!

I bought these boots two years ago. I use them for farm chores, and to ride both my APHA stud and my Harley. Comfortable, clean up nice for more formal occasions, and durable. Couldn't ask for more.

I bought these boots for my brother who has a very high instep and wide foot. I ordered the 2 E. Due to the high instep he could not get them on his foot. Otherwise it was a very attractive boot.

Loose thread on right boot out of box,very noticeable. Cheaper to get repaired than return. Soles on boots get slippery and hard when in cold weather, not very good traction.

Ariats fit my feet well. This is no exception. I was able to break them in in three days with no pressure spots on my feet. I wear these boots for walking in the pasture, riding and working around the stable and they give good support and feel.

Ordering was easy and we received them fast. I would order from Sheplers again. The only con is we had never ordered from Sheplers before and we were not sure if they fit true to size. We chose a 1/2 size larger, probably could wear hos true size. That was our mistake.

I bought the Ariat Heritage Roughstock Boots on 01/27/2015. I tried on a pair at a local tack store and realized I would have to order a half size smaller (7 1/2 EE), I normally wear size 8 wide. They are beautiful in design and each slightly different in color; but that's what makes them western. They fit like a glove and broke in very nicely. I love them and wear them everywhere.

This is a very comfortable, good looking work boot. I use it for motorcycle riding. The sole is non-slip and the boot is comfortable enough to walk in for a good distance.

I bought the boots to ride. They fit snug in the arch and have broken in quite well. I have never worn cowboy boots so these are a nice departure from lace ups. I'm hopeful that they will last through a couple resoles. I feel the quality will show over time.They are comfortable enough to wear all day.

My worry about buying over the internet is you are trusting a picture. I went out on a limb a while back and bought a pair of Justin boots from a picture and a review. I was impressed. The boots looked like great quality and were stylish. Exactly what I wanted except I couldn't get my foot to fit in. I ordered my show size as recommended and I believe if I could get past the boot throat and get my foot in they would fit fine. I gave them to my son in law and he loves them. I have had my boots for almost 6 months now . im 55 years old and I have never owend a par of snekers in my life, that being said I were my boots 7days a week. and i cant were them out, . normolly 1.5 months trash time . i will buy again.

I am a hard to fit man when it comes to boots, I also very skeptical of online ordering boots. I saw these on line and fell in love with the style so much I ordered them . Besides the great design, they fit as if they were made for my feet . Boots are perfect all the way around . Will order these again, not to mention the compliments I get on them.

I found it amazing that after the first 13 hours of use - there were no blisters or sore parts on my feet! It's as if the boots were actually built on my feet! Excellent stuff!

I dislike these boots because they literally grab my socks as I'm attempting to slide my foot into them. By the time my foot is where it should be in the boot my socks are very uncomfortable and tightly stretched across my toes, making my feet miserable & uncomfortable. I've tried everything I can think of to solve this issue. However, once I wear the boots a while and my foot sweets a bit I can pull them off, stretch my socks out past the end of my toes for a loser sock fit, then reinsert my foot into the boot for a somewhat more comfortable feel without the grabbing my socks so much. Also, there is some cheap fuzzy lining in the lower foot area, likely part of the problem. The final issue is that the heals of the boots are higher/taller that the front sole of the boots thus making ever step a two tap, rolling process. Rather than one seamless and smooth (rolling heal to front soul) step process. Very odd, I've never experienced that in any other boots. Im thinking about taking these boots to a cobbler for help. Possibly the heals are taller than they should be. Strange indeed! Guess in some instances, today, you still get what you pay for. Next time, spend more money and get quality boots, hopefully!!!

Recieved my boots in 4 days after ordering. My second pair of boots from Shepler's. Put them on out of the box for a long night in downtown Nashville, Tn. Walking around downtown and heavy use on the dance floor and a show. Brought a backup pair just in case. Happy to report they were not needed. No break-in needed. Why can't all boot be made to this standard. Their are a lot of good boots out there but, untill you have tried Ariat, you don't know how a proper boot should feel.

Quality leather and craftsmanship. Ariat did a great job. Boots are thick leather and should provide years of wear.

These boots are made for working cowboys or people who want a comfortable boot right out of the box. You can wear them all day with great comfort and the sole is rugged yet easy on the foot. I was surprised at how well they are made...the equal of the more expensive brands. I have had a number of high end (and value) boots over the years. This is the best out of the box, period. Comfortable, easy to wear, and agreat look. Canwork inthem,but also can go out on the town and enjoy an evening. I found they fit true to size but in casual shoes I normally fit a "medium" width, and in the boots I wore an EE. But they fit GREAT!

Our household are Ariat fans and these boots were no exception! These boots were purchased for my teenage son and they provide excellent quality, fit and comfort. I purchased a pair of women's Ariat quickdraw for myself and after hearing how much I loved them, my husband decided that he wanted a pair of Ariats. The perfect, tough boot. Very comfortable. Perfect fit, right out of the box. Sheplers says to order boots with your shoe size, don't add, don't subtract. That's what I did, and it works. Now I can wear a little bit of the West here in Eastern North Carolina.

I've worn these boot for a month now for causal use. They feel very sturdy yet comfortable enough already to wear all day. The are a little darker than pictured on the website, but not a big deal to me. and feel like they will be very durable. They look and feel great. I will buy another pair!

I have owned this boot for eight years, it was comfortable from the start and still fits like it was made for me regardless of if I am walking or riding. They claimed the sole would outlast the upper, but I don't think they are going to do so. The "finger pull on holes" are a little different, but they actually work very well. I really wish they made it in Black.

I bought my cowboy boots a couple weeks ago. They are made perfectly and super comfortable. And what is most important nobody around is wearing similar boots :) I am extremely happy customer from Europe and will not hesitate to buy in SHEPLERS again.

I got these Rough Stock's last fall, and they are the best cowboy boots I've had. The looks are great and only get better with wear. I wear these out and about town, on my motorcycle, going on dates, working in the barn and on horseback. The size was just right. Last month, G/F and I went to Nashville for the weekend and I wore these boots all around town, walking on concrete...no problems. I will be getting another pair of these if and when they ever wear out. They seem tough. I've had a horse step on mine (with new horse shoes on) and didn't do much to the boots. Didn't feel good to my foot though. I may order a different style of Ariats just for going out wear. I like these much more than my last Justins or even Tony Lamas.

I believe that these boots will last a long time. They are very comfortable and were true to size.

If you are looking for an everyday wear, these boots are great. The composite shank is the boot is light weight, but something you can really feel in the support. I put these boots on right out of the box and have worn them since. You still need a break in period, but very comfortable and a true fit. This is the first time I bought a pair of boots online and wasn't sure if I would have to send them back. I have not thought about it since. The leather is soft. I wanted a little tougher material, but really no complaints with the leather; just wanted something a little tougher. If you are looking at these boots, like the design, color, and Ariat. Then go ahead and purchase them, you will not be disappointed. This is my first pair of Ariat's and I could not be happier with my purchase.

I received these boots before the estimated delivery date, as did all the other boots I've ordered from Sheplers. Sheplers has been great about getting things to you fast. These boots are quickly becoming my favorite pair. I ordered the same size I always do (12EE) and I have to say these were a little tight at first. After wearing them almost every day for the past week and half the fit perfect. They are very well constructed, comfortable and look and feel like they will last a long time. They also looked like they did on line. These are also the first pair I've purchase with a square toe and I must say, they look pretty sharp. If you order these I think you'll be happy you did.

The boots I received were darker than the ones pictured online making them, in my opinion, better looking. My only complaint is the boot was too large. I typical wear a size 12 shoe but ordered an 11.5 boot. This boot was still too large, maybe I should have ordered an 11 in this style?

I went into the store to buy these a few weeks before Christmas. Unfortunately, limited supply of Size 15 in the store but was assisted with making my purchase via Customer Service. They arrived in time for Christmas and fit my son perfectly. He has already worn them multiple times. He loves them. The only odd thing was that we didnt' get charged until mid Jan. Maybe I should have noticed we had not yet been charged but it was surprising how late we finally got charged.

I like these boots. I tend to find what I like & buy them as old ones wear out. (I was getting some Chippewa boots before until they were discontinued.) I like the style, and they seem to last a reasonable amount of time. (I'm not a cowboy. I just like boots as my daily wear.) They don't seem to keep my feet quite as dry as the Chippewas, but overall, I'm happy.

Excellent quality product. Mine did come with a couple scuffs in the new leather, but they are boots. I did think “Hey, they’re boots. I’m gonna get little dirt on my boots”, so I never considered returning them. But, now that I have worn them a few times, they may become my good Sunday boots, and I’ll have to figure out how to remove the scuffs. Very comfortable. True to size. True to pictures. Just a great boot. I waited 3 years for them to go on sale. Never did. Three years wasted when I could’ve been wearing them. Don’t wait like I did. Order them! This is the first of many pair. Off to look at the other colors and styles of this same boot.

Let me begin this review by thanking Ariat for this fine boot. When I opened the box and pulled the first boot out I held it up to light like baby simba in all of the craftsmanship. They are also true to the size chart as well. I do hate to say it takes about a solid month to ship to an APO.
