[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dear Ariat. I have had a pair a year of this boot for 20 + years. It’s by far the best boot on the entire market. It’s even the best within Ariat. It’s the safest boot to work in. The most ankle support with steel toe and thick leather. It’s the most comfortable boot to wear because of sole and top cousion. The sole is waterproof and never wears out. It is a good looking western boot with tassel for being in at and urban work look without tassel. The redwood color is perfect to stay looking good with wear and weather over time. I could wear these without even considering anything else for 20 more years and beyond. It’s a look and style that will never go over time. You Must Keep Making this Boot Please!!

I purchased these boots due to the fact the pair I had prior lasted 2 years 9 months. I work in the freight industry for a truck company on the dock and out moving trailers in our yard. Having a nice pair of boots that’ll last through every day tasks and the weather throughout the year is something I look for when it comes to footwear as well as comfort. I decided to go with another pair of Ariats, the same model too due to these key factors. Only thing I feel is different is the quality of leather. It just doesn’t look/feel the same way. Honestly it feels as if it were a downgrade from the previous leather the boot had. I give it 4 stars for this sole reason. I’ve only had them for about 2 weeks now so I can’t entirely give them a lower or higher score. Only time will tell. If they last close to another 3 years then awesome I’ll be back for a 3rd pair when the time comes. If not I think I’ll look elsewhere in the future.

Best boots ever. wore them everyday for three years. only reason i stopped was because the sole got ripped off when myheel got run over bya forklift.theysaved my anklefrom breaking when i worethemskateboarding,all i got was a minor fracture.

used to live in denver , now that im in chicago hard to find , but they are the best wearing boots i have ever worn

I have two pairs of the Ariat Hermosa XR work boots, the first pai I bought almost 3 years ago in January of 2016. I love these boots. the first pair I have put them through everything imaginable, I have been ran over on my toe by a fully loaded pick up truck and these boots saved me from breaking my foot. I have flooded them with water from a major storm, ive put them through horse and cow manure washed them off. these boots I recommend for those who work long hours. i'm on my feet for 16-18 hours a day and these boots keep my feet froming hurting. I am on my second pair and ill keep buying more in years coming. Thanks Ariat International keep up the awesome work.

I've had my pair for almost three years and I'm just now having to trade them in because I've worn out the stitching. I've worn them through oil, grease, and chemicals in an automotive factory and they've protected my feet from dropped parts and metal. I'm definitely getting the same pair again.

A very sturdy boot and great quality but runs narrow. This is my fifth pair of Ariat lacers and all fit perfect except of these. These must be a new cut. I ordered wide and my feet roll off the side. I'll never order Hermosa's again.

On 11/21/2012, I was walking through a supermarket parking lot. 'Being vision and hearing impaired, I did not notice avehicle driving up behind me. Theypassed me on theleftside and made a sharp turn acrossin front of me. When they did so, they ran over the first three - four inches of my left foot. The car was a Cadillac. The Ariat Boot which has NO steel toe, protected my foot so well that although the tire-tread of the car were clearly visible on the toe of my boot, I received only a slight sprain. In fact, I walked to the remaining distance to the store, to my wife's truck, into the ER, to the police station, and 1 - 8 miles every day since. I bought the boots five years ago and they wear like they are brand new. Although they are somewhat heavy for a hiking boot, I have no problem puttitng on the miles. They are comfortable, stable, and extremely durable as my experience shows. Thank you Ariat and keep up the good work!!!

This is my second pair of boots they last a long time and are comfortable to work in all day in different weather. I live in az and have 20 degree temps in winter and 120 in summer!

I broke my leg in two places and my ankle All at one time! Doctor said it was the worst he had ever seen my leg and feet swell and hurt! I am apipefitter bytradei work 12to 16 hours a day 6 to7 daysa week and Ican count on being able to walk in my house thanks to there boots! If you have ever had any kind of foot injuries I would suggest these shoes to you if you are on your feet all day!

These boots are nice looking and nice feeling and its almost Thanksgiving so its not hot out and my feet fill like theyare on fire all day, I'm not sure ifthey breath wright,I have been wearingRed Wingssince 2002 and they were fine for breathing but the sole's wear out to fast so I thought I would try Ariat boots

Its my own fault, but I didn't realize that these were steel toed. After much discomfort I figured out that they were steel toed and that they were not going to fit. So, ended up spending $180 on a pair of boots that I will never wear again. However, the original Cobalts that I had were not steel toed and they were probably some of the best boots I have ever worn.

As a truck mechanic I am always on my feet and these boots do great job of keeping me going on the shop or on the ranch.

I have walked 2600+ miles in my boots. I walk though chemicals, grease, and water. They have never slipped once. They out latest ever one else's boots I work with. I have other boots that just don't work. I come right back to my ugly comfortable boots. They are cracked and split from the chemicals, but my feet are still dry. I just simply love them.
