I’ve owned a pair for 10 years. They are some of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever bought. This pair is to replace my old ones. I have wanted a brown pair for some time. I like the low heel of a roper for working on my feet everyday.

The distressed leather is very well done. The boot supports your foot well, but is a little difficult to put on.

I loved them so much that I bought 2 pairs. I am going back to Brazil, my home country. We don't have this quality and comfortable at the same time in a this kind of boots : )

Incredibly stiff and difficult to get on and off. Fit fine once I was able to get them on, so its not a size issue. Really wanted to like them, but had to return.

Very comfortable boot size is correct. I wear them all day n they are very comfortable

I'm in these boots HOURS every day; on concrete barn halls, riding or ground working horses. Plus I have a semi fused ankle that is very picky about support. These let me get the job done.

Love the distressed brown. I've gotten so many compliments on their simplicity. I wear on horseback and with a festive hippy skirt.

I bought them online, received and started wearing them. The size is between too wide and true to size, I hesitated to send them back and regret I did not order 2 sizes to send back the one that does not fit but finally kept them. I love their simple sturdy look, but I wonder how to protect them as there are no indication and they seem to be stained or scratches easily which is not what I expect from sturdy boots. Should I waterproof spray them?

Going on three years in this boot. Use it for every day ranch work. Very comfortable and can take a beating.

Have never had an issue with traction and seem to be very well designed and well made. Sized wide but are just slightly narrower than I would like.

I have a pair of Quickdraw's in 10B which fit really well (I'm just not a big fan of square toes). I had assumed that these would fit about the same- not so! The heel cup is wider (wider than my Heritage Stockman's in 9 1/2D) & the overall fit is 'looser". As others have mentioned, the seams on the inside of the boot have eaten my ankle bones raw (compared to my other Ariat's- the seam looks wider/bulkier). I do like the look of these boots & the fit may improve with break-in (if I can wear them that long)- we'll see.

The boots...Ariat Heritage Roper...arrived in good shape, and in good time. However, I could not leverage my feet into them. I am used to having a tight entry into a boot, this was impossible. I'll probably never order footwear on line again. No one's fault, but back they went.

This is the second pair of these boots. My first pair lasted 9 years and I still wear them they are just great hard wearing, comfortable and look great. Mine have been in sea water, mud and just abused. Highly recommended.

My first pair of these in men's lasted 4 years of daily wear including 2 solid years if jousting. My fiance is a horse trainer and destroys boots about every 6 months. She's getting this for Christmas and I cant wait to see how they hold up.

These Ariat Roper Hertiage Boots are great. The boot is true to size as is the width. There was no breaking in period for these boots. I was amazed how comfortable they are since I have very flat and wide feet. I normally don't by any shoe without trying them on first. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone.

I have a wide foot and the medium fits just fine. The boot is very soft and easy to wear

I have all three styles of the Ariat Ropers and all are the best fitting, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I alternate wearing themdaily.I wish they camein blackcherry leather too.

Unfortunately these boots are a little too narrow ,but they are so awesome I will try to sell them and re-order another pair at a size D width .So that would be a size 7.5 D I'm Thinking ????

I’ve worn the Heritage Roper round toe and wide square toe for years. My last pair, ordered a few months ago, were a real disappointment. Lighter weight uppers and poor quality stitching that is already unraveling. This new pair is not durable enough for horse farm work.

This is a great basic boot and my first boot since I was a teenager. Love the insole!!! Second, please give an option to have a traditional leather sole vs rubber.
