To measure a child's hat size, wrap a tape measure around the head 1/2" above the ears and across the forehead. Compare that measurement to the "sizes in inches" listed below. If you are unsure of head measurement, it is best to order big. If the hat size you purchase is slightly larger than needed, foam hat tape can be inserted under the sweatband to provide a better fit. Sizes in inches: S(20.9"), M(21.3"), L(21.7"), XL(22").
