I was happy with my purchase as soon as I opened the package. Good rugged material that also has style. In fact it looks so good I have worn it out to dinner. The pearl snaps are the touch that makes it look so good. And for a work shirt they are safer then buttons. I can be out of the shirt in a second should I need to. The shirt is heavy and keeps your body heat in. Good work shirt from fall to spring in Michigan.

I would have given this shirt a better review, because I really like the shirt, but it is so stiff and heavy that I gave three of them away; even after three washings they were stiff and rough on the inside. Again maybe it is cold weather gear!

Most of the time these shirts are great but sometimes I get bad ones. All the stitches come out and and pockets come off. The shoulder stitches have come off of my current one. Starting to get really disappointed with the rescent ones I've bought. I have them starched every time I wear them. I'm considering switching brands if this continues. I normally buy new shirts in sets of 4-5 every 3-4 months.

I have purchased many Wrangle Denim shirts... recently purchased the firm finish and was shocked. The shirt can stand on it's own! It is so stiff, it is really not wearable...have washed 3-4 times and still stiff as a rod.

Best shirts I have ever worn. Sturdy and last a long time. Quality can be hit or miss once in a while (had a couple where the snaps were attached all funky), but overall they are great quality and great value. My only complaint is the selection: who decided on these colors? Wrangler, please make these shirts in more diverse colors (maybe a true brown, yellow, an orange, etc). The black forest green looks just like the regular black with different snaps!

I bought this as a Christmas gift, and had a hard time "wrangling" it into a gift box. The shirt was so stiff that, in trying to unbutton the top button to try the shirt on, the button broke off in my husband's hand. What a disappointment.

This shirt will never wear out, really tough material. Already have one in the check and after a couple of years it doesn't look like wearing out. Chose burgandy this time which is a nice colour. Material never really softens up, still quite stiff after a lot of washes, but love the shirt. Highly recommended.

What is with Wrangler's obsession with sequin snaps? Buttons work fine and look better too. Why change what works? I don't rope cattle--I wear my Wrangler shirts into the office! Wrangler shirts were always pre-shrunk; why excessive shrinkage? Again, why change what works? I am a big guy and Wrangler shirts came in sizes up to 4X...even XT...what is with sizes only up to LARGE? This style might be poplar south of the Rio Grande and in certain circles, but here? Again, why change what works???

I own&operate a small auto-towing business in Maryland, and this work shirt is great with a base layer. The more I wash it,the better it gets, and as long as I don't snag it on sharp metal, it should last. I think it's a little high in price, but I'm glad I bought it.

Will have to return the 3 I ordered. Since most of my friends are not built as solid I would recommend it and I would have given these to my dad but he is not XL...

These shirts are good value (at least in the US). They are hard-wearing, comfortable, easily washable, fairly easy to iron shirts. It's a shame they are not available in the UK as I end up paying almost double with postage and tax costs! Come on Sheplers, open an English branch... Despatch was quick, received within three days of ordering (would have been quicker if it wasn't for HM Customs)

I bought this shirt in the early '90's in Khaki. Back then, the size read 16x35. Since I don't button the collar on this style of shirt, the fit was perfect. I still own and wear the shirt and by golly, the fit is still perfect. It goes great with my black shadow Wrangler jeans, both my Resistol black fur and natural straw cowboy hats, and any of my Justin ropers! This is a work/play/dance/all around hanging out kind of shirt! No one should be complaining about it's "stiffness", it's "stiffness" is a huge part of what makes it great! And after roughly 23 years of, pouring down rain, hot blazing sun, hitting the ground, hugging huge barrels and getting bare fisted punched a few times, the only real damage this shirt shows is faded crease lines on the sleeves from the several cans of heavy starch used to make them as sharp as a razor. So when and IF this shirt ever falls apart, I'll just get another one!

This shirt is a nice teal color, well made, but the heavy twill fabric after 2 washings and using vinegar to soften as recommended by a friend still feels stiff. My fiancée's take on it is that he'll have to wear a t-shirt so he won't chafe his chest and he usually doesn't wear one. I'm hoping it will eventually soften.

I have been utilizing these shirts for years. I finally found a right fit for a 6' foot 165lb man. I settled upon the LT Firm Finish Long Sleeve, because of the long tails and the extra sleeve. The chest size is very similar to the large size, so it was not very hard to figure out. I wash them in cold water only, and put them in the dryer for only 5 minutes and pull them, hang them to dry. It takes about 4 washes to get the factory starch out of them. It is a wonderful shirt, that will last me for years to come. The color takes forever to fade utilizing this aspect. I should know, because I have been wearing them ever since I retired out of the US Army in 01. Remember, if you want the shirt to shrink on you, just leave them in the dryer, and they will become smaller than you anticipated, and disappointment will set in. It is 100% cotton, so you roll the dice.

I ordered 4 of these shirts and when they arrived, they were indeed very stiff. But the first thing I did was, to put them in the washing machine with fabric softener and the stiffness was gone. It encourageoused me to order 5 more shirts, gave them the same treatment and again there was no problem whatsoever. Shirts are sturdy, durable and have a great fit.

This shirt seems to run small in overall sizing. The color is really nice, but the fabric is VERY rough and stiff feeling. Maybe that will improve after about 10 washes and drying in a fabric softener. If I had to do it again, I probably would pass on this shirt.

I use this shirt on the job and on the farm. Good shirt for the money. Hemming the bottom would be a lot better for welding use. They only have extra stitching to reinforce the bottom of the shirt and aren't actually "hemmed". Also disappointed that they are made in Bangladesh. Would gladly pay more to have an American made product.

I purchased two of these shirts for my husband. They had all the features he likes, ie: two large pockets, snaps and fit. However, He won't wear them because the fabric is too stiff. Thought it was sizing, but have laundered three times with fabric softener and they are still very stiff with NO softness at all. Would return them, but since they have been laundered, I am sure I would not be given credit for them. They are durable alright-A bulldozer running over these shirts wouldn't soften them!

I have been buying Wrangler shirts for at least a couple decades and have noticed the quality slowly deteriorating. Three out to the last four shirts developed holes on the sleeves under my upper arm. The seams on these shirts look like the stitching is pulling apart when delivered. Unlike the last two shirts, the snaps hold together much better than the last two. I don't know what Wrangler does with the supposed cotton material they make these from but it is stiff as cardboard, not comfortable and wrinkles very easily and is hard to iron out. I am looking for a Khaki Medium work shirt with snaps. An Apple iPhone won't fit in the pocket and have the flap snap down, very poor design for this day and age.

I first purchased Wrangler work shirts over 20 years ago. The fit is still great. The twill material seems a little lighter in weight. It washes and comes out of the dryer with very few wrinkles. I hope it holds up as well as the one I am wearing now. It's 24 years old.

I bought this shirt expecting it to be the same size as 2 I purchased a couple of weeks before, but it came a little smaller. However after a couple of washes it is a little softer and so fits a tad better. But still unable to do the collar up. I would recommend a new buyer to try the next size up first.

This is a pretty durable work shirt and looks pretty good. My major complaint is the sizing. I bought a medium, but should have purchased a large. Wrangler seems to make its shirt small. Stetson fits perfectly and so does Levi, but definitely not Wrangler. Buy one size up and take your chances on the sleeves being too long or buy another brand.

A rugged, good looking shirt appropriate for desert camping, exploring a mine, working around the yard or casual wear anywhere and they last for years. They are tailored a little tight so unless you are within the proper weight range for your height (like I am), you might consider getting the next larger size.

Yes, this shirt may be stiff at first but that shows its durability. When I ordered this online I was hoping for a strong, rugged, well sewn shirt; and I got it in this one. I'm 5'10" 155lbs and prefer a tighter slim fit so I ordered the small and after one wash it's perfect. This is ten times better than a levis shirt and it'll save you money.

These shirts are way too stiff in the package...they stand up on their own! I washed them 6 times before wearing. They are still pretty stiff...hoping they soften up with future washings. Will not buy again, though...will look for something more comfortable that allows for easier movement

This has to be THE worst piece of clothing I have ever purchased. I do not know what "firm finish" is supposed to mean, but I have washed this shirt at least 10 times and it is still so stiff I cannot wear it. I have always trusted the Wrangler brand, not anymore.

Use these as work wear, the only difference i have noticed over the years is that the body circumference is about an inch shorter around that my older wranglers.measured a few seam to seam to check. Otherwise, same great tough fabric and durability. i always wash in cold water and line dry. i have never noted any shrinkage this way.

The twill material on this shirt is much stiffer than other twill product I have owned. I think perhaps the dye that is used, or the manner it is applied makes the shirt very uncomfortable to wear. I returned the second of the 2 I bought after enduring the wearing of the first for an evening out.

The fabric has an excellent feel, that I feel will last for many years. It fits perfectly, the two pockets come in very handy. Any person that has to wear a defibrillator (heart monitor) will like the ability to have a cell phone or similar device in a shirt pocket and yet have it far enough from the implant so that it does not affect it. For those who are lucky and do not need it for that purpose, two pockets are better than one. LOL Nice product, good cloth used. Snaps work as they should. A good value for the money

Excellent clothing, I ordered 4 of these 9 years ago and after 7 years of wearing them everywhere, from construction sites to dining out my 2 favorites showed some wear, 2 years later I still wear the other 2 only now I need to re-order as I've expanded.

Great shirts thought I bought them for my son and when they were washed they shrunk a size... Doesn't really matter cause I claimed them they fit me instead

Have been wearing these for years and love them, but have recently switched from XL to XLT as they do tend to shrink in length with repeated washing. The twill shirts are initially stiff which I prefer but they do soften with age. These are heavy duty work shirts.

Bought this shirt for working outdoors but it's going to be a while before that happens. This shirt is tough, very sturdy and looks good even in jeans and beat up boots so I'm going to wear it out with the guys for a while until it looks a bit worn. Could be quite a while with this weight of cotton. I was drawn by the low price and I didn't expect this kind of quality. Highly recommended.

These is a nice, heavy weight, work shirt. It came MUCH lighter in color than the image shows. It’s more of a light tan/cream.

This is a work shirt as stated, I bought for casual wear and it is very stiff and bulky for that purpose, as a work shirt it will be very long lasting but with postage costs and U.K taxes quite expensive. Burgandy colour is very nice. Wrangler should give a prize to anyone who could wear one of these shirts out.

I ordered a large for my husband and itbwas way to small. I usually order large for him but this definitely was sized too small. Fortunately, my son in law tried it and it fit him well. He has the western shirt, not my husband:(

the cotton is very stiff, even after several washes it did not get softer. the XL turned out to be L - arms are short and tail does not extend over the butt - would not dare to wash it hot or put it into a dryer for fear of shrinking

I've purchased and worn Wrangler shirts for years. They used to have a 17 x 35 which was a good fit for me but now that the shirts are only available in Sm, Med., Lg sizes I cannot get a suitable fit. When I purchase a shirt that has an adequate fit within 2 cold water/lukewarm washes it is too small because there is so much shrinkage. The quality of the shirts has dropped with the last 3-5 years. I will not be buying any more Wrangler shirts because of these problems.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I am reminded of the wrangler jeans I had in the fifties. Really stiff. The shirt fit everywhere except across my middle. I'm already on a diet, I'll expect it will fit in the fall, but I didn't expect it to be so snug!

the only issue with the item itself, was the fabric was so stiff. we washed it several times and it loosened up a bit but when my son took the shirt with him to college, he planned to wash it every time he did laundry just to relax the fabric. it's too hot to wear it right now in TN but he plans to have it more wearable by the time Fall weather kicks in. the delivery process from Shepler's was right on target with our expectation.

I purchase two and haven't been able to used them. They came out off the package like piece of cardboard. I have washed these two shirts about fifteen times and now they look really bad. They look great in the website but not in reality. They were a Father's Day Present.

This shirt has been a huge disappointment. I was looking for some sturdy work shirts, but this fabric is much too heavy and stiff. Even after repeated washings, it still looks terrible (puckered) straight out of the dryer, and Hubster reports it is still stiff and uncomfortable.
