The overall boots were very nice. There was a problem with them that they had a chunk of leather missing from the sole on the side of the boot. I was very surprised that this pair made it through quality control. They should have never gone out the door. My 2-star rating is due to the experience I had when trying to return the boots. The policy according to the phone attendant was that I was to return the boots, get a refund and have to place another order for the boots vs just having them send out another pair to me to replace the damaged pair. The onus was on me to go thru the process again vs taking care of the customer. Lots of boot companies out there… I will order from some place else… my luck with Sheplers is that I will get the same pair back if I were to reorder. Process is a big deal and Sheplers’ process for returns benefits them and not their customer. Might look into this during your next corporate meeting…
