Great boot right out of the box. I walk at minimum 2 miles a day on every kind of outdoor terrain there is, and these boots have not hurt my feet at all. I did go try them on, and they r one size bigger than I wear in redwings, so I do recommend trying them on before you buy them.

I bought them for days I’m in the shop not in the field. Concrete floors are rough 12-14 hours a day. So far I’ve had them a week and they fit good and still feel pretty good. Break in lasted first day. So far diesel and oil hasn’t been soaking into the leather.

I’ve been wearing square toe boots by a certain popular brand for many years. Had my eye on these for a while but I am a creature of habit and don’t like change. Finally let go of some money and bought a pair of the water proof moc toe (without steel or composite) with a heel (not the wedge). I made the right choice as they are super comfortable and tuff. I usually wear a D, but had to purchase a EE, as they are narrow. I also sized down from a 10.5 to a 10. They are expensive, but worth it. Definitely an investment, but if you are on your feet all day, these will keep your back in good shape. I recommend trying on in store rather than ordering online to make sure to get a proper fit. They do not fit the same as a pull on boot. If you don’t mind lace ups, then this is a great boot. As to the test of time, I’ve only had them for 1 month. No feedback as to longevity yet. Keep them oiled regularly and you should have them for a long time depending on your profession. The laces aren’t the best but will do for a while. There are plenty of choices out there and they are cheep enough to replace. Over all, a good solid boot, expensive, comfortable, fashionable, and hard work approved.

Sole got chunked off in 3 different places from shoveling the first day I wore these. Boot barn wasn’t helpful getting me a replacement at all. $300 boots trash.
