Most boots of this style are too heavy. This boot is not heavy. Easy to walk in. A little stiff initially.

I retired my last pair of these boots after over 700 miles of hiking, in all weather & temperature. The only worn area was in stitching at the bend by the toes.

This is my first pair of snake proof boots, and they did not disappoint! Not only was I confident in them while hunting in some pretty sketchy terrain, but I was SUPER comfortable. These boots were never waterproof. First the right boot leaked, then the left Within about two weeks I’ve had them for about two years now both soles are coming apart. I don’t wear them every day. I probably wear them three times a week. I would think they would’ve lasted longer for the hype and price.

I am on my 3rd pair of these boots and they are the best boots I have ever owned. They are extremely comfortable for all day wear. The EYE LOOP lacing prevents keeps the string in place even when untied. I dont end up tripping on a loose string. I HATE HOOK Lacing! The only problem I have with these boots is the waterproofing degrades rapidly within 1 hunting season- allowing water seepage. Waterproofing on these boots needs improvement! I wear these boots year round in my hunting area, which has an abundance of Cottonmouths, which are extremely agressive by nature. They are still relatively comfortable in 100 degree heat and provide enough insulation to remain relatively comfortable in 25 degree F weather. Great Boots!

I've never had a pair of boots that were comfortable before having a "break in" period. I put my snake boots on, worked and hiked in them all day. They were so comfortable and my feet never hurt. LOVE THEM!

They were great until they started to seperate at the sole. Sad that things aren’t built to last. Wore these October deer season here in Louisiana, got one month of use, this year first time I used them I was soaking wet. They were stored inside , all mud was cleaned prior to storing. Very disappointed

First item I purchased on my new girlfriends discount at a local sporting goods store in 2011. They have been through (3) states turkey hunting, bird hunting, deer hunting, hog hunting, hiking and working land. Not to mention they come in one of the best mossy oak patterns ever. I’m buying new laces this year as mine are done. The waterproofing has worn out, so I am buying a new pair. I will still default to my originals when I don’t have to worry about water. Top 5 all time gear purchase for me. And that girlfriend and I have been married for over 6 years. I just need rocky to respond to wether or not the snake protection ever wears off.

I bought a pair for me and a pair for my husband. We were tearing down an old house and have copperheads and rattlers on our property. These boots were comfortable right out of the box and we spent many 12+ hour days in them. They are flexible enough for bending and crouching and I had no problem getting footing on the steep pitch of the roof either as I tore it off. They are solidly built but not hot or bulky.

I am a female with oversized calves and could not find snake boots the would fit. These boots are amazing they're comfortable and fit my large calves with my jeans tucked in.....thank you so much for a great product.

I bought these for hunting on a pretty wet/snake infested area. I haven't worn them through water yet, but so far they fit great. I had no problem using my climber with them the first time, and they really were comfortable. I love that I can adjust the laces at any point on the boot I need to in order to achieve the perfect fit.

Bought this boots after reading a couple of reviews on several others boots and this ones had one of the best reviews out there so I made my decision and purchase them. They were back order at the moment so I had to wait a little bit more than 2 months but I didn't mind because hunting season at that time was 4 months far away. Finally they arrived and I must say that I was impressed just with the box they came on, pretty cool Ram logo on the front. I open the box and there they were.l, very well packaged and immediately noticed that they came with a awesome key chain attached to the one of the boots which now I have proudly in my car key chain. I tried them on and they were super comfortable to use for being the first time. I have also inspect every inch of the boots and found no defects, on the contrary the stitches were very nicely done. Rocky boots have earn my business and would definitely recommend this boots for hunting. All on all rocky boots have surpass my expectations from customer service to product quality.

Purchased 2 pair- I ordered 12W, and by mistake ordered 9W for the wife. She wears a 7.5W for womens- which is a mans size 5. The Size 9W fit perfect. You do the math to be off that far and have it work. I normally wear a size 11.5W, and these boots almost didn't work

I wish I had found these boots years ago! I have tried 2 different other brands and have been very disappointed. I have even tried snake chaps, but those were uncomfortable as well. These boots are a little more expensive than some, but well worth it. Although I am a woman and these are men's boots, the size conversion chart helped me to order the right size. They fit well, are comfortable and lightweight, and are easy to put on and take off. The first time I wore them, I had them on for over 6 hours with no discomfort and no break-in period required. This is a great pair of boots!

I tend to climb around Rocky Terrain in Pennsylvania quite often. A snake encounter is pretty frequent. I was thrilled to receive my boots and people have complimented me on it. The only problem is when I need them it's summertime and they are thinly insulated....aka super hot in the summer heat

I bought 3 pairs of Rocky snake boots, one pair for myself, son and son-n-law. It was not this exact boot but they did have the "Rocky water proof lining" But After just a couple days of hunting all 3 pair leaked. They are not water proof! As for comfort they were average, other qualities were average or below. If you need a snake boot for that protection only then they will do the job. However if it rains where you live , or you hunt, walk or are planning to be in wet conditions then................ look at other options.

So far I have nothing but good to report on these boots. They are light, comfortable and as cool as any snake boot you can find. I love the zippered sides. It makes them quick and easy to put on. I also like the formed heel that keeps the boots from sliding around on my heels. The wide width availability was very important to me as I am a EEE. Time will be the real test as they break in, I'll see how durable they are. I'm scouting a couple of days a week in them now to break them in and have a big hunt in October where I'll be walking 6-10 miles a day. That will really tell the tale on comfort.

I've worn them a couple of times now and they are very comfortable. They go on easy and I love the hooks at the foot to help with pulling the laces tight. I do wish they would make these in a Women's Wide, but these work for what I need.

Always comfortable for hiking, hike without worrying about snakes. I have at least 10 sets for all my family out in our hunting room.

I like the boots. They are comfortable to wear but they are far from waterproof. Just walking tru wet grass they will leak. My girlfriend and I both got our boots at the same time and they both leak.

I bought these a few weeks ago and I got a size 7 since I wear a women's size 8. They fit really well and lace up great. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to tighten them up enough around the ankle and calf since they are men's boots, but I was pleasantly surprised! They do great. They still need a little breaking in at the crease on the top of my foot but I have no doubt they will get softer. They held up really well while I collected clams from a shallow stream, I worked the stream for about 20 mins with fast running water at calf level and they remained waterproof and warm. I would whole heartedly recommend these boots. Plus my hubby thinks their sexy ;)

I have had these for a while and loved them at first. I only use them a couple of months out of the year and today in less that four inches of water my feet are soaked and cold. It would seem that Rocky Boots is well aware through reviews of a leak problem and still advertise them as water proof. It would seem also seem that they are aware that what ever waterproofing they have doesn't last and for the price that is unacceptable. This is my second pair as the first ones didn't make it the first trip out. I would have to surmise that in my opinion the product is being somewhat misrepresented as there are way too many people complaining about the fact that this boot leaks repeatedly.

What can I say, the boots are simply exellent. I would definately reccomend them

I bought my snake boots to wear on our farm .. I love them !!

I wore these on a quail hunt in south Georgia recently, no break in period and felt great after 8 mile hunt. Very light weight yet rugged for going through thick brush, also very safe boot in snake country. I suggest everyone give these a try, order a half size larger than what your normal shoe size is and they'll fit perfect.

I have worn the same pair of these boots for the last two winters. Where I live, in the winter I have to walk one mile to my car through deep snow and back home to get to my house: sometimes the same distance in mud as well! My feet have never gotten cold in these boots, and the boots still look great: VERY deep snow-proof and VERY durable! People notice them. Some people and give me compliments on them; some people think they are too "redneck" or whatever: I don't care. They are very practical outdoor boots for winter. You can walk or work in them with just one pair of socks and your feet will stay warm (I kept an extra pair of socks with me, but never needed them). The only thing these boots WILL NOT do is walk through puddles deeper than the toe. Water WILL seep into the boot if you do this. They are not "waders", but otherwise GREAT. A little heavy on the feet and take some getting used to, but that's good exercise for you. I rated comfort 4 instead of 5 only because the boots are heavy and this is a good advantage otherwise.  It's a relief to buy a quality product that holds its value and isn't junk.  Actually they are three season boots (late Fall and early Spring as well as Winter. Local (Michigan) sports stores don't carry them in this height, so I bought them on line. I'd get another pair any day, except I don't need to. The pair I have will be good for one or two more winters, at least. Best boots I ever owned.

My last two pairs of rocky boots (snake and insulated hunting boot) provided me with nothing but wet feet within one year of purchase. My first pair of snake boots lasted six years without a leak. These will be my last Rocky Boots.

Both me and my husband ordered 4 pairs of these boots. I usually wear a 8.5 women's shoe and he usually wears a men's 9.5 shoe. I ended up getting the size 7 and my husband the size 9.5. But after wearing the boots all day, we both wish we would have gotten a half size smaller. We used Rocky's Free Return Shipping on the size 7.5 and 10 boots that didn't fit us. The process of returning them was very easy. Overall, my husband thinks the boots are very comfortable. But I do not think these boots are that comfortable. On the first day I wore them, I doubled up on socks to make the boots fit a little better, and on both feet the boots cut into me and caused bruises and sores on the tops of my feet and back and sides of my ankles. So the second time I wore them I stuck moleskin all over my feet where the boots cut into me the first time. That helped a lot, but I hate that I have to go buy moleskin to put on my feet anytime I want to wear these boots. I think the boot support is great, if only it wouldn't hurt my feet everywhere else. The boots did a good job of keeping water out. It does give us comfort knowing that we should be protected from snakes from the knee down. Hopefully we will never have to find out though.

These Rocky Snakeproof boots not only give me great protectection but from day one they felt like I was wearing bedroom slippers in the woods. Great price and fit was perfect. I have worn them for over fifteen days working in damp, wet, and overgrown woods within a 240 acre tract on a salt water intercostal river way. These have been one of the best dollar for dollar values that I have purchased in a long time.

Well, my first pair was actually bought in 2011 and worked construction and did a lot of hiking in them, I would give a full five stars but I had issues with how many times I was able to use them as far as waterproof usage was. Their sturdiness however is outstanding. My first pair lasted me four years of heavy "abuse" until I had to buy a new pair. I fi.d them extremely comfortable and wish other pairs would come in smaller sizes, having small feet, I can only order one kind of snake bites. But I do highly enjoy my Snake bites.

I bought these last summer for hunting. First of all, these are very comfortable out of the box. Wore them almost the entire hunting season. However, one cold day I had to cross a small creek. The water only covered the base of the shoe and I had a very cold hunt that evening with wet feet. Please don’t advertise them as waterproof when you can even walk in 3 inches of water.

I bought a pair to dig herbs in back a few years back. Well the first trip out I had the new boot break in and it wasn’t horrible. Well the next day I walked around 12 hours. Through streams, over rocks then I felt something hit my calf. Looked down it was a 2.5-3 foot rattlesnake. Hanging on my boot. I been hit three times never been bite. All by rattlesnake I love the boots I have close to 900-1000 miles on these boots well worth the money.

I bought a pair of these about 3 years ago. I absolutely love them! They are so comfortable. I have crossed through a stream about 8" deep-feet stayed dry!. They keep my legs warn too while hunting. Absolutely love them! Hopefully i will never run into a snake.

I bought these boots as an all time woods boot, deer hunting in the hard woods, turkey hunting in a field or duck hunting in the swamp. And I wanted a water proof snake boot that was tall, so I bought these. Well I was in the swamp today putting up a climber and I stepped in about ankle deep water for about 15 minutes and both boots were soaked in the inside. They are a great boot and very comfortable but as far as waterproofing they are terrible. I’m going to continue to wear them but put a waterproof coating on them, I just love these boots they just aren’t water proof.

I have flat feet with bunions and a hard time finding comfortable shoes. Bought these in WIDE for work around my farm and horse caretaking. First, they are SO comfortable WITH the Rocky's foot bed insert. Normally I have to use one of my expensive ones. THEN, they are perfect. No more dirt and debris getting down into my socks and foot. You can wear a thin sock or thick and either way - comfort. They slip on-and-off easily and yet if you want to really lock them down for some hard work you can do that too with the laces. I did use a boot insert for the first several days as the ankle area wanted to fall in and rub. That worked and have not noticed since and have worn these boots every single day for a month now.

These boots live up to expectation and then some! The quality, comfort and protection that they offer is second to none. Will always buy Rocky boots!

I love these boots, wear 'em everyday, wherever I go, unless water is involved. If you want dry feet wear rubber boots, there's a reason they're still around. That point aside, great boots.

I bought these boots a little over a month ago and I am really happy that I did! I was hesitant because I am a female and these are men's boots. The sizing chart is accurate. I wear a 5.5 in women's shoes, and ordered a 4.5 in the boots and they fit great. I have already put these boots to the test, and have had no problems. They have remained waterproof and in great condition. They were a little stiff just out of the box, but one good day of gardening took care of that without hurting my feet. I was replacing a pair of 15" snake boots that I had for 4 years, and had several encounters with snakes. I like that these boots are 16", in the mountains of SE KY that extra height helps you feel a little safer. These boots definitely met my expectations, and I will soon be ordering my son a pair!

I love when these places ask you to write a review when you haven't gotten to use something long enough to truly review it. I will say out of the box they were very comfortable. Took them straight to the mountains with no break in and they were very comfortable. They left my feet with no soreness even after cutting wood for 6 hours. So far I really like them. How they last will be the final judgement.

I bought these boots for my wife and she loves them.

Purchased these boots to send to a friend in Australia. They are great in every way except for one thing, they Run A little small and kind of tricky to get into them. They are stiff where the boot meets the legging portion. My friend was still able to fit in them but it was a little tricky getting them on and she will wear them with a thinner sock. If Someone has any ankle problems they may consider this in purchasing the boot. It will be a little bit difficult to pull on. My friend said the next size up probably would’ve been a better fit. Otherwise they are fantastic.

Comfortable at first. I always have issues with the ankles in boots. The very first time wearing these i had to walk through mud and water. My feet stayed dry and comfortable. I felt safer walking back at night knowing I am protected up to my knees from snakes. Hopefully, never have to test that out. I am hoping the waterproof stays.

I am a 69 year old female. I am a rancher I hike I cut and gather fire wood I live in rattle snake country. These boots fit well and I can wear them all day and not have tired feet . I have trouble getting the laces tight enough to give me proper ankle support when I'm on uneven ground. I am taking them to a boot repair shop to have hooks added between the eyes so that I can snug them up. The long laces and eyes are a challenge for me. I

I bought these boots as it's calving season and I'm often climbing through brush areas along creeks to look for abandoned twins where snakes are plentiful. Just walking through fog wet grass my feet are soaked. I love the boots overall as they are lightwieght and tall for snake protection. However, if your looking for waterproof, in my experience, they are not.

I'm always leary about buying boots online without trying them on first. These boots fit perfectly and I couldn't be anymore satisfied. I will definitely buy Rocky boots in the future.

My wife is a photographer and she is outside with all the birds and wildlife. We have been looking and needing some boots for just in case. Love the way they fit and felt good walking a lot. I carry her extra gear so that we can get the best shots and make the time out more enjoyable.They also offer extra wide which I have to have.

I bought these boots awhile ago and just got them out this spring for turkey season...They are terrible!!! They are NOT waterproof at all...My feet get wet just walking in the grass with dew on them...This is my 2nd pair of Rocky boots and I am very disappointed in them...

My feet are red and sore with numbness! I have very little feeling in my toes. I hunt ed for 3 days with these boots and my feet are not happy . I had a very bad hunt , knowing that a hunter needs his feet! I could not even drive with the boots on, very uncomfortable boots! I will call for a return authorization ! James

I bought this boot 3 weeks ago and wear them every day, hiking around 5 miles a day. These boots have a very comfortable foot feel and leave my feet feeling good even after a long day of hiking. They are extremely hot in the summer days here in Southern New Mexico but that's a price i'm willing to pay for the defense. The only complaint i have is the stiffness they exhibit around the ankles. They were very uncomfortable to break in and bruised my ankle a little. They have broken in well though (took about 5 days) and now only have discomfort about 5% of the time

I received these yesterday as a birthday gift from my husband! Having eked 12 years of life out of my BassPro Redheads (can't complain- my foot grew after pregnancy & the waterproofing finally failed), it was time for me to admit it was time for a new pair after deer driving last Saturday in a swampy logging deck. We live on the SC coast, and have been inundated with floods for three years now- most recently Irma- so critter proof and dry boots are a must! Wore them today for the first time and they are comfy, supportive and lightweight. Being an equestrian and quite used to breaking in tall & skin tight custom boots (read: pain & blisters!) I am relieved to feel that these will break in nicely, and I appreciate the small details in the lacing system and overall design of the boot. I am looking forward to giving them a good run tomorrow afternoon with the dogs, and feel confident that they will provide the protection I need from both the elements and critters!

We have a deer lease in south Texas and its rugged filled with spiders and snakes. My husbands boots he previously had were worn out and had to be thrown out. I was looking for boots that were quality at a quality price. I bought these boots one size bigger than his normal size, because in the winter he wears very heavy socks. My husband says they fit well and recommends buyers buy at least a half size bigger as these were almost a perfect fit. We worked all day at the ranch and he said they were comfortable and durable all day. We would definitely recommend these boots. The only thing that would make these better would be a zipper. We havent had them long enough to tell you how long they will hold up, but seem to be great so far.

I bought these boots for spring turkey hunting and like them so much that I wear them most of the year. A bit warm in the summer in the south. Have many miles on them: easy to break in and comfortable all day. Will buy these again.

Fit my size well (women 7). Boots were comfortable. I had used them mainly for hiking in muddy areas, had never fully immersed them in water. Found out the hard way that they are not waterproof on a hiking trip that required walking in 12 inches of water. Boots were 3-4 years old, should still be waterproof after that amount of time. Rocky Boots was notified and gave me a 40% off a new pair as they are not under warranty any more. Not sure if I will buy again even with the 40% off. I really suffered on the hiking trip.

I have had these boots for less than a month. I bought them primarily for when I am cutting brush in my back acreage. My back yard is primarily thick wetlands and there are many copperhead and rattlesnakes back there. These boots are amazingly comfortable, outstanding ankle support, and the comfort in knowing they can withstand a bite from my neighborly snakes keeps me reassured and relaxed while clearing paths and swampy areas. A great deal for the price!

This is my 3rd pair of these, I wear them daily for support of left ankle and lower leg because of severe damage from vehicle accident. They allow me freedom to enjoy the outdoors with having to wear a brace. truly love these boots.

Until these boots, I have had to wear an ankle brace with every other high top boot I've tried. These boots support my feet and ankles, and are extremely comfortable. They also offer great protection against snakes and cactus. As a rancher in Texas, I appreciate that!

I have been wearing waterproof snake boots for almost 20 years. I've probably purchased more made by Rocky than any other brand, and overall, I like them. They are definitely the most comfortable right-out-of-the-box and are usually broken in within two or three trips in the field. Over the years, however, I've purchased two or three pair that leaked almost immediately (I usually replace them yearly). The most recent pair, purchased just a month or so ago, leaked the third or fourth time I wore them. And I'm not talking about a little leak, I mean water pouring into the boot in the top of the foot area. So I sent them back and they replaced them for free. Bad part is now I have to wear new boots several times to really break them in again. It's probably more realistic to give the boots 3 stars, but I add the fourth due to how comfortable they are, their low cost, and ease and speed of replacement (had the new ones within 3 business days). In my experience, if you want a boot that's more durable and less likely to leak, buy Danner or LaCrosse, but be prepared to shell out 50% more or higher on those brands.

These boots are phenomenal. I was a little concerned because they were men's boots and I am a woman. A friend of mine told me these were the boots to get and to go one size down from my normal footwear. She was right. The moment I put these boots on, they felt like I had been wearing them for several years. They fit my foot perfectly. The only thing that I had to work on was lacing up the boots differently than the configuration someone had put on the boots so on the right side just above the ankle, the boot wouldn't collapse into itself putting pressure on my ankle. But once I relaced the boots this was much better. I wore them for two days of a tracking seminar. I wore them in open field, rocky hillsides, through brush, and dried stream beds. There were no issues with blistering or chafing. Again, these wore like I had had them for years. I would not hesitate to buy this again or recommend them to everyone. The other thing I would like to mention is about Boot Barn. I live in Canada and it was going to cost me a fortune to have these shipped up from another company. My friend offered to have these delivered to her home in the US. Shipping was free and Boot Barn kept me informed to be an email about every step of the process from my initial order until they were delivered. I'm grateful for a great company like Boot Barn!

bought this boot for spring turkey season and they were comforatble and lightweight easy to put on an take off .

I bought two pair of these (one for me and another for my heir) and the zipper pulls on both parted the second time we put them on. I've returned them for a refund, which is a huge bummer because, zippers aside, these are GREAT boots. So I am in the market for another, more reliably-zippered boot.

Best boots for the money I have ever bought. I needed them for walking around marshes during deer hunting. These boots are tall and comfortable and water proof. Order them a few weeks ahead of time because it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get them from the manufacturer but for a hundred bucks they are worth the wait.

I have never purchased any boot unless it had the Gore-Tex waterproof liner in it until now. But I do have to admit so far so good, feet have stayed dry. I just hope a year from now when boots are fully broken-in my feet will still be dry. Only time will tell.

I wear size 12.got a size 13 wide great fit very comfortable.

Zipper didn't zip right out of the box. I have another style of Rocky snake boots that I can't use the zipper on one boot also.

I got these as a birthday present a few years ago. I was moving tree stands in a swamp and walking around in the brush not really watching where I was stepping. Next thing I know, the ground beneath my foot squishes and a cottonmouth water moccasin strikes the back side of my calf. Out of terror I jumped and ran. The 4 foot moccasin was latched onto the back of my Rocky boots for three steps before it lost its grip. These boots may be a little pricey, but they paid for themselves that day.

The older I get the less I care about how much shoes cost as long as they are comfortable and serve the purpose they were intended for. I bought these boots 3 years ago and still enjoy wearing them. I bought these boots to bow hunt in the early fall months when the snakes are still out. They fit like a glove when I first tried them on. They were a little bit stiff from the ankle and above but they broke in just fine. They are warm during the hot months but not at all unbearable. I would recommend these to anyone and I would buy another pair. I own multiple different kinds of Rocky boots and I have been satisfied with them all.

I've been putting this pair of boots through a lot of mud and water on my tree farm. Good fit, not too heavy and best of all no water pouring in over the top of the boot. Upper portion of the boot is wide enough to comfortably fit around my calf muscles which are abnormally large from years of weightlifting. Great boot and a good bang for the buck!

This is my second pair, have worn these everyday for the past 2 1/2 years vs a brace one my left leg. Love them!

Ordered 31MAY21 from Amazon and worn in a swampy area, but not abused and they leak already. Since it was an Amazon purchase, I'm out. Too bad they were GREAT until they started leaking.

I am a 64 yr. old woman. These Rocky Men's Prolight Hunting Boots were purchased to give protection from possible snake bite while clearing my land here in southwest Georgia. They appear very well made with tough material. I meant to order a wide boot but they weren't available. So I went ahead with a size D these were a little snug but I wore them 4 days and they loosened up. Also adjusting the lacing allowed for a less tight fit on ankles. If your feet tend to swell during the day, you many want to order wide. Now they are very comfortable. Once you spend time putting them on and lacing up you don't want to take them off due to time required. I wear long tube socks and after about 4 hours my feet do get damp from sweating. Boots are light weight, waterproof, and give a sense of security while working among old oak trees and undergrowth. Good service from the Boot Barn. I have no complaints and do recommend these boots .

had these boots for 5 months now . side zippers do not zip smoothly nor easily from day one . tattered outer material had to be trimmed upon first use to prevent getting stuck in zipper. Top overlatch not long enough to keep zip handle from being exposed .Overall boot is bulky and difficult to pull pant leg over so if pant is tucked , plant stems , broken grass, and briarstems work way into boot. Years back I put many miles on 2 different lace up Rocky snakeboots that wore much better .

I bought these boots about 4 years ago when I was going on a hunting trip to Africa and was worried about snakes. I got them just before my trip and was concerned about the break in period and did not want sore feet to spoil my trip. There was no break in period. These boots were excellent. We did a lot of walking and stalking in Africa and over some very terrain. I loved the firmness that I received from the 16" height of the boot. Gave me a lot more stability while over this terrain, and the boots were so light. I wear them here in Canada for all my hunting. I also love the quick lace system. Saves a lot of time. These boots are going back to Africa again this year.

I love my boots, they are well made even if they are made in Chinia, be better if they was made in USA but!!

My wife bought these for me as a Christmas gift - unfortunately her hawk broke a toe so haven't had the chance to go out hunting much. Did manage to go hawking with some friends and these boots were great - briar, palmetto, vines, fallen trees, mud - didn't phase these boots at all. And comfortable from the start - no real "breaking in" needed. My only complaint is the side zipper it constantly gets hung up on the waterproof gusset no matter how hard I try to keep the zipper off the gusset - very annoying.

Ready to order my third pair! I tried 6 other brands/styles before finding these Rocky wonders! The others didn't work for me because of my high arches! I wear a W 7 to 7 1/2 (narrow with high arch) - the 6.5M work for me. Love these boots and I wear them every day during snake season. Yes, they can be a bit stiff at the ankle in the beginning; I get the boot to break at a comfy spot and wrap a short ace-type bandage around that area for a couple of days and it breaks them in perfectly. I have gotten more than three years of use out of each pair and I really abuse them. Truly as comfortable as high-quality hikers. I need to work during snake season and these boots allow me to do so.

Bought a pair after finding a few rattlers around the house. Wore them a few times during the summer, then in fall when the heavy dew falls, walked through a field of 6" grass and feet got wet. Buy for the snake-proof feature, not as a waterproof book.

This is my second pair. I love everything about them, except they lose water-resistance and wear out at the point of bending above the ball of my foot. I do a mini-hike every morning, averaging about 1-1/4 miles. After a few months, they break down.

I'm Italian but I leave in BULGARIA, east Europe, I got the boots last year...I go hunting and are great ...really great boots...! I reccomended the futures buyers to buy one size up

I bought these boots only 2 weeks ago. I've used them working on my property several times. Simply the best protection from cold and critters! I plan to continue wearing these through hot weather. I live in an area with high population of copperheads. I'd rather avoid a bite if I can. The comfort is great and I keep wearing them long after I come back indoors.

I bought this second pair of rockies snake boots this year. Just like the first pair it doesn't fit my calves. So I'll be giving 2nd pair away just lIke the first. Why can't you make one with a larger top. These would have made rockies 4 and 5 for my closet but I guess I'll be bring a new brand into my house.

Great quality, very comfortable, 100% waterproof and very lightweight!!!! I couldn't be more pleased with them.

Muck boots never seem to last me more that 3 months total. Running a cattle farm is hard on a boot and puts a strain on a rubber boot to hold up. I was looking for something warmer, tougher and more comfortable. I will have to say these boots are all three of those things. They take a beating and still feel good on my feet.

I was given them as a gift so I didn't start wearing them untill 2 months ago and not even a dozen times have I had them on. The sole on the right boot has come loose and the left is almost completely off.

I barely used these boots and they leak. Rocky will not stand by anything over 6 months. Buy another brand!

Boots leak! They are not waterproof at all. Not sure how they even claim to be.

I bought the boots for a friend after my daughter highly recommended them as she had a pair. My friend says she loves them and that they are so comfortable.

What a garbage boot. This is my third set and i waited too long to return them. They are no longer made from gortex and aren't worth a dime. I suggest Danner boots!!! a little more mony but worth it and they have a 1 year guarantee; unlike this 30 day joke. So long Rocky. Never again. It ,might be different if i could get someone on the phone to talk too. But even that Is a 45 + minute wait. aI think aI am still going to send them back as well. I wouldnt' give then to a homeless person. What garbage!

Very comfortable boot. Toe box is generous, allowing for thicker socks. Wore them first day and break in was non-existent. Comfortable to wear right out of the box.
