My new boots fit me perfectly, but the boot laces are too short, which is easy to correct.

great pair of shoes. beyond comfortable, the wider size makes the pair fit perfect. as always, Danner is the best!

Comfort at ankles not as good as I expected but may improve with age. Great otherwise!

Insert is too thin. Walking over small rocks can feel rock. Purchased an aftermarket insert and has cured the problem.

It’s too early to provide a detailed review. They are ready to go out of the box, keep feet dry in dewy grass, and grip well. I’ve had the low rise version of this shoe, and it still wears well three years later. It seems as if it will be just as good.

Got these for work as I wanted something with ankle support and lightweight…. Half off and they are worth regular price and then some!!! COMFORTABLE right out of the box! These fit like a glove in every aspect, and feel great on my feet even after a 12 shift. Love love love

I don't hike I spend all day climbing up and down ladders. These have plenty of cushion and support with a solid shank to keep me stable while being much much lighter than any work boot.

Beautiful shoes! Fit great (as expected per size), did not need to break in, design and construction seem to be very robust.

Extremely comfortable, however, the eyelets seem a bit tight making them difficult to remove.

Very comfortable, great shoe. It seems a little small, especially through the instep, compared to other Danner boots. They look good and the normal, what you expect from Danner.

Nice fit, wider for a comfortable flexible fit along the toes but snug through the arch and heel so they don't feel loose. I put in an insert and now they're comfortable and supportive all day long. Wish they could breath a bit better but that's the SACRAFICE for durability.

All the previous Danners that I’ve owned were true to size. About a third of the reviews on these said they run small and they are right. The first ones I ordered were too small but I ordered another pair a half size larger and they are great. I’ve only spent one day wearing them but they are very comfortable, so I am pleased so far.

I've been hiking for at least 50 years (if not longer), and the Trail 2650 Mid 4" GTX is, by far, the best hiking boot I have ever worn. Right out-of-the-box comfortable and like it had been form-fitted just for my feet! I did have to order this in a man's size since this style is not available in a woman's wide (c'mon, Danner - women (and their feet) come in ALL sizes and widths!). The traction on this boot is fantastic, and as an older hiker, very much appreciated. My husband and I have been doing a lot of hiking this spring in TN and KY - and it has been a very rainy spring! However, these boots are definitely waterproof and I just plow through the creeks, puddles, and streams knowing my feet are going to stay dry. By the end of our hikes my feet are usually a little tired, but sore they are not - and THAT is the wonderful difference between a Danner boot and every other hiking boot I have worn! So when we do the R2R next year, my wide feet will be firmly (and comfortably) planted in my Trail 2650's. Thanks, Danner!

Order a half size up for sure. Looks and feels great. They look like they would be heavy but not at all. Toe box is very roomy. My four year old pair of insulated were too warm for some outings so ordered these and I’m hopeful these will hold up just as well. Four year old pair is still completely waterproof and fully intact. Boots look well made, but the fit was too small in length and especially in width. Had to return.

1st pair were too small. Sent them back & ordered 1/2 size larger. They’re just right. Very comfortable.

Really comfortable and good looking. So far the durability seems good and the shoe is well made.

I had a chance to test these on the AT. I enjoyed the toe protection against the PA rocks. I have a narrow foot and felt the footed was too narrow leaving my arch with little support. Somehow this shoe kicks up an unusual amount of debris into the other shoes. Something I have not experienced with other brands.

Husband says these boots are the most comfortable he has ever worn.

Very comfortable, light, and great grip for walking on trails, yard work, etc. I love them and they look great too.

I am size 9 with slightly wide. Purchased 9W. By far one of the best shoes I have had the pleasure of using. My first Danner was Trail 2650 low. Used it for the 3 week Camino walking 8 to 13 hours a day. Never had an issue, no fatigue through many different types of trails. So I decided to buy another Danner. This mid model I have been using exclusively for my letter carrier job. It has saved me from many number of missteps. Traction is great, perfect through the rain, light, and comfortably flexible enough without giving up protection from hard bumps. I would recommend this to everyone.
