I just bought these boots (Pronghorn 800) so I can’t currently write about their warmth or performance but they appear to be well made. I did eventually need to purchase a size larger than I normally wear to allow for a medium thick sock. I can report that their customer service is great and the return process is very convenient.

I have had many pronghorns but the fit was very snug! I should sent them back.. same size as all the others. But this pair is very tight..I would guess mislabeled. Gave them to my grand son.

A good hunting boot, the soles are grippy even on wet rocks. Comfortable. Waterproof, no real break in needed. Modern sneaker type fit, all that they should be for a good hunting boot. I bought the 800 gram insulation, and I would advise you order a full size up in the 800 or 1200gram. If you are looking to keep warm and have room for decent wool socks, then get the wide. Danners are traditionaly narrow, and thats the case with these. I have a normal width foot but danner is the only boots I have to always order in wide widths. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, because although it's a great quality boot, danners are always a little bit more expensive than the competition, for a similar product.

I have been using Danner since I was serving in the military. The boots hold up great and have always taken care of my feet. These new boots have not let me down.

I love them!!! I cant see owning another brand of boot. Ive wore Danners for 12 years now.

I am always concerned that a boot purchased on line without trying them on first is problematic. These boots were much better than anticipated. The width was just right and the ankle support is excellent. On the first day of wearing, I hiked nine miles in them with no stress points. I am very satisfied. Thanks.

These are my first true, full hiking boots (I’m 16.) These are very well waterproofed, but even if you get water above the boot, if you pull your leg up fast enough, your sock would get a little wet. These are incredibly light and stable boots that I could wear all day. I love these and I expect them to last at least 15 years.

Way to narrow of a boot for my feet. I take a size 15, one would think that a size 15 would have a wide option as those people with size 15 feet are probably bigger and have wide feet!!! Offer a wide option in your larger sizes instead of just narrow.

Not even close to the right size. I ordered a size up and it was still far too narrow with a cotton sock.

I will be returning these boots, I had to wait 4 months due to back order, then when they came, the 11 EE are too small and way too narrow. I usually wear a 10 1/2 wide so went half size bigger. Can barely fit my foot into the boot.

I ordered the same exact boots I ordered in the past and they do not fit at all. I can see that the style has changed and it looks like you have a different manufacture making them. So I am sending them back. I called Danny at Danner and he was very helpful to help me find another pair and they are a hunting LaCrosse boot. I’m not sure they will fit either, but I was very happy with how Danny worked with me to find another boot. You need to give him a raise!!! An excellent customer service person!!! Gary

I purchased these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. They were replacements for a pair of Danner Pronghorn boots that he bought SEVERAL years ago! Excellent product and excellent quality!

I wear them all the time. There my hiking boots, very comfortable.

Fit good. Anything insulated have to go a size up. Like the boot.

Seem to be a very high-quality boot fit very nice. Can’t wait to walk the soles off of them.

They were a perfect fit from day one! I didn't have to break them in. They were comfortable the first day I wore them hunting and walking for miles. I'm beyond pleased with them!

Great craftsmanship, very comfortable and very quiet while walking. Great tread design.Have yet to be out in real cold conditions, but these have been very warm.Good style really like the mossy oak break-up. Great boots, definitely recommend!

Boots fit very well after wearing them three or four times. Replaced a pair of pronghorns I have worn for 6 years. just remember to order a full size larger than you normally wear in shoe size.

The boots fill too tight when I where thick socks, which I wear most of the time!

Size is small. The rubber on the toes does not last. Split out in the first couple days of wearing them. Insulation is good. Wish it was the old style toe box.

These boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them half a dozen times and they are always very comfortable. Wore them out in 5 degree weather. my feet were warm the whole time. Very happy i bought Danner !!

So far I like them. Haven’t really wore them a lot but next fall will be the test but so far so good!

These fit very well. Excellent toe box. Treads are as close to self cleaning as you could get. Excellent cold weather insulation. Good water resistance though I use KJ cream. Major hassle are laces. THESE BOOTS SHOULD HAVE SPEED LACES. Hard for us old guys to get over so far at least this 2 meter 230# 75 year old man. Outside of that bravo!!! Toes and feet are warm big socks fit. GoreTex works just fine. IF THE LACING SYSTEM WAS BETTER THESE WOULD GET 5 stars
