Had to order a half size up and get the wide version for them to fit. Aside from that they are a great boot so far

Like the boot, hate the eyelet setup and the laces.

Danners have always been my favorite patrol boot . And the Strikers did not disappoint, best boots on the market.

Not sure if it's just my boots. The inside of the boot where the tongue overlaps turn into a very hard and uncomfortable knot when you lace them up. I've worn mine over a month and they don't seem to be getting any better.

Slightly tighter than my old pair on the length. Not sure I appreciate the new eyelets but learning that as we go.

The speed lace loops need to be a bigger diameter to accommodate a good replacement paracord lace. The laces that come with this boot remind me of a thin athletic show lace.

The boots are very comfortable! They seem to be well made but only time will tell. Run true to size. Plenty of room in the toebox. They're a little thick for hot weather boots but should be great for the cool months. The eyes are the reason for the 3 stars. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! If the boots weren't so comfortable I would return them due to the lacing system. I will buy some extra long laces so I can leave them laced up and not have to fight with lacing them every time I put them on.

I sent these boots back because the eyelet were too small and it was difficult to put the lace Through the hole.

love my new 8" boots, I do have a question about my zip boots I have two pair that are getting holes on the side by the toes, is there a patch I can put on that, I love these boots, but both pair are doing that.

Comfortable, great traction, holds up really well except for the toe of the sole. This separated causing some moisture to get underneath and now the boot squeaks when I walk. Even with this issue they are still waterproof though.

The boots are comfortable once you get them on. I work a twelve hour shift as a guard, on my feet the whole time. But, getting them on SUCKS. They need a heel loop to help. Get the side zip if you can.

Warm, 8 inches looks great and feels better. They are super reliable the leather last a long time, good traction

We initially had to return the boots bc they leaked, but we bought a second pair and are very satisfied with them. Great quality and great fit.

Comfortable and shines well

Nice boot with room for comfort. Not too heavy, and great in the rain. Only complaint is there is no bootstrap. For a taller boot, there really should be a strap to help pull it on.

The highest quality boot you can put on. I trusted danner overseas and I trust Danner here for PD. Nothing more to say; look no further.

Really comfortable. I am on my feet constantly for twelve hours a day four days a week or more. Only pair of boots I never had to buy inserts for. Definitely worth the price. Only thing I don’t like is how the eyelits are designed. Get rid of the ones on the sides.

I have been wearing danners for years and I love them. They are very comfortable and last a long time . 5 stars.

I have worn duty boots of all types for 22 years on duty. These are the most painful boots i have ever worn. At first I thought they must need broke in, but no they just cause terrible pains in your feet and make your flesh raw. Im usually bleeding when removing these after a 12 hour shift. Avoid these boots at all cost! The are the most expensive and worst boot I've ever worn!

Boot is very difficult to polish. Cannot get a military shine to stay on it with the type of leather it’s made out of, it seems to just soak it in. Been shining these shoes over 3 weeks and still sub-par,

I received these boots about 3 weeks ago now and they seem to be already broken in. When I was in the Army I really liked the Danner Rivots and the StrikerBolts have a very similar sole. They are very supportive when wearing full gear. I am a Park Ranger now so I am on foot a lot in a variety of terrains. They are very comfortable and have amazing grip. After a long day of being on my feet my back and knees are feeling better than ever. I highly recommend these boots for law enforcement.

I don’t understand why companies fix things that are not broken. The eyelet didn’t need to be changed it takes forever to lace up they took the pull tab on back off to assist pulling them on. You can tell people that don’t use the boot designed them. Don’t know if I’ll purchase again.

Don't like the lace and makes my ankles hurt due to lace loop attachment

Pulling the laces tight each day is more difficult than it should be. The soft tongue material and the supplied laces don’t play well together. I wish they had side zippers. Other than that I’m very happy with them.

Great boot but very difficult to get off and on. Would love to see a pull tab on the back of the boot

LEO in Canada. I’ve worn Strikers for 10 years. These boots were very comfortable but like everyone else says, lacing system was horrible. I wore a hole through the upper within a year just from everyday use. Definitely not the quality I’m accustomed to from Danner. Future versions should have a much better lacing system and a strip of leather that runs up the length of the back of the boot, where it flexes the most, to provide support and durability to the boot.

Do not like the plastic eyelets.. very difficult to lace up
