Boots look better than the picture! after broken in, they are very comfortable and go with whatever I'm wearing...

I own several pairs of boots from many different brands. This pair was on the less expensive side of what I usually buy. But, they were on sale for Black Friday, and I would get a $25 store credit if I picked "Ship to Store". So, I decided to buy them as an everyday boot to spread out the wear and tear of the rest of my boots. Here's my experience: These boots NEED to be broken in before they are gonna fit comfortably. The first time I wore these boots, it was an all day thing. They were snug. The edge of the toe box really dug into my toes hard. After only a few hours, my feet were hurting. That never happened on any of my more expensive boots (Lucchese, El Dorados, Tecovas). The phrase, "you get what you pay for" kept coming to mind all day. I decided to try again, but this time I knew it wouldn't be all day so I figured it'd be ok. Only an hour or so in, and sure enough, the front of my feet began to hurt again. I really thought I was gonna have to buy some of those toe cushions to wear these boots. Same story for the next 2-3 times I wore them. Little by little, though, as the boots stretched, the toe box wasn't as imposing and my feet felt real comfortable in these boots. I have since worn them several days in a row for all day events and have not had any pain or issues. They fit great!! I must say though. It did take several different days of grin and bearing before they final made a great pair of boots. I love them now, and they fit as well as SOME of my pricier boots.

Color is great. Good mix of dark and light browns. Not too shiny or flashy, but enough to look great when out somewhere nice. And still not too flashy to wear on my job sites. Wear them everyday. Just make sure you get conditioner, cleaner and water protection. Because of the dark color, the color will probably fade more noticeably as they wear more.

Very nice leather finish. Color is unique and versatile. Dress up or casual. Very satisfied.
