I only rated these boots 4 stars because of inferior quality construction. However, I did shop around and found similar appearing boots for $900, so the $200 I spent on these otherwise very cute boots brings to mind the saying "you get what you pay for". The suede was not measured well around the construction of the zipper and does not line up and there was some extra that should have been trimmed off. Obviously no one can see this as that is in the area of my ankle. My calf measures nearly 13", so there were no issues with fit. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and if there are other construction issues I guess I'll find out as I wear them.
