Great wool boots my husband won’t wear anything else.

I wanted a tall boot for cutting wood, a tread with some traction for working in snowy conditions, and preferred something made in the US.  These boots fit the bill, without being too heavy and without the dreaded icy steel toe.  I bought the size I normally wear and with fat wool socks they fit perfectly.  I can't speak to longevity yet, but so far so good.

I bought these boots for my friend and hence cant tell you about how they feel and wear. I have looked at them and they are well made. Their big test is how they stand up to the hot climate where they will be worn. My last pair of boots fell apart as the glue on the sole failed due to heat. In the Middle East, temperatures are constantly + 40 degrees C. One complaint is the import taxes from the USA to the UK ( My home) was not obvious until delivery. I could by similar quality boots cheaper in the UK if the taxes are taken into consideration. Is this a sign of things to come when the tarriffs and trade wars ramp up. We may all soon be able to afford home produced materials.

Had an easy time placing the order unfortunately the boot were running a little big so ended up returning them and get another pair which I received yesterday look forward to trying them out.
