General Sizing: True To Size

The boots (I got them in 2 colors) are very stylish BUT In comparison to the rest of the boot, the heel makes them look like cheesy made-in-China knock-offs. Very soft, made it over my high arches, and I believe the squishiness in the toe will disappear with a "real" wearing. But that heel! I know I'm going to slip unless I really scuff them up. Unfortunately because the heels don't look authentic/rugged, I assumed the soft leather to be plastic (especially because of the nylon lining (a pleather trait) -so I keep smelling the uppers to be sure. (They smell awesome :-))
