These boots are beautiful and a value for the price. The first day you wear them, wear them with thin socks. The second time you wear them you can use your regular boot sock. The skin is beautiful and I get compliments on them all the time. I like them so much, I bought them in black also.

This boot is everything the reviews say it is. The craftsmanship and texture is striking. Like most exotics, when you first put them on they are a tad tight and a thinner sock has been recommended and is true. My feet are narrow so the reviews from some concerning Tony Lamas being narrow was not an issue for me. Like most exotics especially Lizards after wearing it all day it quickly starts to stretch and form and you'll be able to go with your normal sock the second time you wear em. By the fourth day, the boot breaks in and I was glad the boot started out a tad tight because any looser and a thicker sock would have been needed.There was a mixup with the color, I ordered Cognac but received Peanut Brittle which is very similar with just a touch of carmel mixed in. Christina in customer service handled my mixup with above average distinction and I decided to keep the Peanut Brittle. You'll get a lot of comments from family and friends about these beauties...Teju Lizard is absolutely beautiful. If exotics is what you like in boots, Lizards need to be in your collection.

Decided I'd like another set of exotic skin boots added to my collection. Saw these on the Tony Lama website and thought they looked great. These boots are not easy for me to get on and off. Hopefully, some break in will help. Otherwise, the boots are comfortable once on.I wore these boots to the office on the last causal day. Everyone noticed!

1.) Brush off dirt or dust with a damp cloth.
2.) Use saddle soap if boots are extra dirty.
3.) Apply reptile cleaner and conditioner.
4.) Apply a delicate cream polish, such as neutral. Please note: For snakeskin boots only, apply conditioner and cream with the grain.
5.) Brush or buff the boots to a shine.
6.) Apply water and stain protector if you wish.
7.) Use edge dressing on leather outsoles and heels (not necessary for manmade/rubber outsoles and heels).
