Scout Protect Spray was purchased to add liquid and scuff protection to the 'naked leather' of the Tekno Crepe Pecan Taurus Justin boots, as I want to maintain their natural leather appearance. My concern about applying any spray to the leather was discoloration. If applied with movement, the Scout Spray appears a tad darker, but dries to the original natural leather within 2 minutes with no residue.I cannot vouch for the protective value of the Scout Spray yet, as I am very selective about the environment where my boots are worn.So far, no water/liquid stains or scuff marks.
