Runs true to size. Tight at first but breaks in very quickly ( by day 2 of wearing) glad I ordered true size. Felt uncomfortably tight at first I thought about returning them, glad I didn't! I have been looking for tall ALL black cowboy boots for ever now and didn't want to spend $300 on Frye's, found these and they do the trick for the price. They seem to be about 2 inches shorter than stated, I ordered the tall distressed tan ones too (which I love even more!) and they are the same height even though the desriptions say they should be 2 inches difference.

These were my first pair of cowboy boots...and boy am i impressed! They're so comfortable. I love the dip in the front and back also the silver rim is a nice feminine touch. I didn't know how true to size cowboy boots are so i bought a half size bigger just in case. Well as it turns out I should have bought my true size. So buy your natural size you would in your normal boots or shoes. Also wanted to state sheplers has great customer service as well as fast shipping! Since purchasing these, I have also bought another pair of boots...and I love them too. I get so many complements when I wear these boots...so if your thinking...don't anymore just get them!! Im so a cowboy boot fan now...i'll be back to purchase more! Thanks!!!
