    The denim weight is perfect for work jeans: not too heavy or too light. Tapered at the ankle but not too narrow for work boots. I couldn't find this length (36) in any stores and am thrilled to find them here!

    Whilst I am a long term customer of Sheplers these Dickies Jeans are a new Brand for me. I am truely satisfied with the quality, comfort and toughness. I wear these Workhorse jeans when wood cutting and wood splittig in the forest, best done in winter temps, below Zero degrees. The double layer of material protects my legs from thick prickly undergrowth, when manhandling logs into position to be split and from winter snow and wind. My usual jeans could not stand up to this work, I tore the knees out of every pair and froze into the bargain. Whilst the fit is as described, true to size, I appreciate the generous waist measurement which allows room to tuck in winter thermal t-shirts, plus room for a largish lunch. (As I have said previously, tested and proven). They stand up to a good wash and look presentable enough for casual wear. I have never been able to find jeans of this type or quality in Australia or Europe. Excellent value for money [...]

    I have been a Shepler's customer for many years. [...] These are a new Brand of jeans for me, and my first review ever. Excellent jeans. Ideal for outdoor work, both in the garden or when wood cutting in the forest even during winter snows. They are tough but comfortable and presentable enough as casual wear. The waist whilst true to size is generous enough to comfortably tuck in several winter layers, t-shirt, thermal T-shirt, plus an overshirt and still room enough to comfortably indulge in a largish lunch, (tested and proven). I will certainly buy more of these, from Sheplers naturally.

    General Sizing: True To Size

    I bought these pants for my husband. They are rugged, medium weight denim. He has a beer belly and this style suits him well. They are comfortable enough he could sit around all day watching TV in these pants. Which is better than sitting around in underwear I guess. I tell him his butt looks great in these Dickies, and that puts him in a better mood to take out the garbage or unclog the sink. So, in a way, these pants are good for women too.
