For smooth leather, follow these easy steps:
1.) Brush off dirt or dust with a damp cloth.
2.) Use saddle soap if boots are extra dirty.
3.) Apply a leather conditioner.
4.) Apply a matching cream polish if needed.
5.) Brush or buff the boots to a shine if needed.
6.) Apply a water and stain protector if you wish.
7.) Use edge dressing on leather outsoles and heels (not necessary for manmade/rubber outsoles and heels).
For distressed leather, follow these easy steps:
1.) Brush off dirt or dust with a damp cloth.
2.) Use saddle soap if boots are extra dirty.
3.) Replenish oils with an all-purpose conditioner.
4.) Apply a water protector if you wish.
5.) Use edge dressing on leather outsoles and heels (not necessary for manmade/rubber outsoles and heels).
