I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase these boots. Normally, I don't buy leather but non-leather boots wore out so quickly and the quality of them was poor versus the cost. I wanted a good quality pair of boots that I wouldn't need to replace for many years. I wanted something handcrafted in the USA that was durable, comfortable and classic with a reasonable price tag. These boots are so incredibly comfortable. I wear them all day, every day and, at times, I spend a lot of time on my feet. It's surprising that I don't sleep in them! I get a ton of compliments on them and they look great with everything from jeans to dresses. Just like it says about J-Flex, there really was almost no break-in time. I ordered my usual shoe size and the boots fit me perfectly!!! If I were to purchase any other leather boots, they would be Justin Bent Rail, handcrafted in the USA.

My foot has a high instep and i can't wear some cowboy boots because I can't get my instep past the bottom of the shaft. Not the case with these. The boot fits great even with a high instep. They look great, and fit beautifully. Wore them twice and they're broken in and feel great. They're a win/win.

1.) Brush off dirt or dust with a damp cloth or brush.
2.) Apply a delicate leather conditioner, such as Bick 4 leather conditioner, gently with a boot cloth.
Note, to continue the desired aging process of "vintage" leather boots, do not use leather conditioner.
