    I am a woman and this hat is for me. I needed a straw hat with ventilation, but it had to be somewhat sturdy. I like the look. It looks of quality and it was a reasonable price. I haven't worn it yet as I bought it for an occasion that is in the near future. I am anxious to see if it can withstand some wear & tear
