I originally shopped in a Sheplers retail store because I am unaccustomed to shoppin on-line. I found the style of workboot I wanted, but my size was not available. The boot I wanted was a product from a boot maker new to my experience. So, I ventured on to the Sheplers website and found the style work boot I was seeking. My question, of course, was whether all boot makers use the same size system. At the toll free number provided a very gracious woman answered and appreciated my question. I provided the bootmaker name and size of the other boots I wear, and she in turn provided me with the appropriate size for the Dan Post workboots. I had some apprehension, but I took the chance. I am very satisfied. Free shipping was an added touch. I also have the impression that had I needed to return the boots and adjust the size (which was not necessary), that would have been easily managed, again with the help of the on line Sheplers agent. Thanks much.
