The boot is made of cowhide leather inside and out. The heel is nailed on, and the sole is sewed to the bottom, Very well made overall, The boot has an excellent arch with good support. If you are going to wear your pants over your boots as I'm sure most people do, make sure you have boot cut jeans, my straight leg jeans will barely go over them, but they do, it's just a tight fit. Also Sheplers got them to me quickly, this was my first time using Sheplers, but I am satisfied with their service.
