    This hat is just what my son hoped he'd receive for Christmas.Although my son's head measured just right for an XL, I was concerned about it fitting too small based on other reviews. I decided to risk the purchase anyway, figuring my younger boys could wear it if it didn't fit the 8-year-old. It fits just right!My son has a large head, but it is more oval-shaped from the top. This hat might not fit someone with the same measurements but a more rounder shape. That's just my opinion, in case it helps someone in my shoes trying to figure out if the hat is likely to fit or not!

    I thought the hat was beautiful and the detailed band is very nice. The only negative I would say is the hat is alittle lighter colored than I thought the photo was and a little stiff; however, I would not mind having the hat in an audlt size it is so nice. Even my husband thought it looked good. I got it for a little girl for Christmas and I think she is going to love it and it will look so good on her and in photos. Great product. Would buy again.
