I wanted a pair of black western boots to fit with slim jeans. Day they arrived I put them on to start breaking them in and ten hours later I still didn't want to take them off. These are my first pair of Loredo boots and I have to say the quality and fit are much higher than the price would suggest, though I believe they are more suited to dress/casual than work. I will order a second pair in brown.

I have had consistenly outstanding comments on my beautiful new Laredo black cherry boots. I wish that Laredo had not discontinued the crocodile leather boots, but these boots are a nice second choice. My boots fit well and are an outstanding value.

The boots fit and looked great,but the left boot was damaged in the side above the heel. the stitching was coming out and there was a large blemish in the leather on the top near the toe

Oh Wow! I was sooo looking forward to my boots arriving and on opening the box... They were up to my expectations. However they were rather tight. What to do? send them back from New Zealand???.
Nope! Get them streched and wear them in.
This I have done and they are now feeling that they have become part of me.
So just love them to bits. However would chose a larger size next time
Had size 44 = 10 but I guess kiwis have bigger feet so will have to chose one's with a broarder fitting...

These Laredo zipper boots are really comfortable. The fit is perfect for me. The square toe makes a lot of difference for the fit. If you have a wide foot, the square toe is the way to go. Very dressy. I have the black cherry and just got the black. I will order one or two more pairs soon.

These are great boots; I haven't found any that can hold a candle to the Laredo zipper boots. I tried the Durango brand because they were cheeper and found them to be a little on the small side and hard to break in. the Laredo boots break in easily (just a few hours and they mold to your feet) and are comfortable to were all day. Spend the extra money for these boots and you won?t be sorry.

I looked for a while for a pair of low, western style boots that would fit under a pair of slim pants. I usually wear a Chelsea style boot, but felt like changing it up. I wanted something stylish, but a bit rugged. These boots seemed to fit that description, as well as my my budget. Having read conflicting reviews regarding sizing, I crossed my fingers and ordered my shoe size. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box that the distressed leather was just a bit darker than it looked in the picture, having thought to myself when ordering, boy, it would be awesome if these were just a little bit darker. My shoe size ended up fitting perfectly, and the boots broke in after wearing for just a day. I've been wearing them every day for a month and a half now, and they're comfortable as can be. I tend to be rough on boots, but these are holding up great so far. I love the look, and am considering buying them in another color.

I really like the zipper boot. Within a few hours they were broke in and feeling comfortable.
