Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking and fitting jeans These Wrangler Retro jeans fit me lower in the waist with more room in the leg without being baggy. Waist and length are true to size, and leg fits perfect over boots. Jeans seem very durable, yet are comfortable and look nice. These have quickly become my favorites. August 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not too slim not too loose I did a lot of searching before I decided to trial these jeans, I'm a lighter build male with 36 inch leg and these jeans are so comfortable without looking baggy and without looking tight, they are very snug high between the legs. Perfect for in the saddle all day. It's a shame they are only 13 ounce. They really are the inbetween of relaxed fit and slim leg. June 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit I have a low rise and have been searching for the right fit for a while. These jeans are exactly what I was looking for. I ordered another pair as soon as I tried them on! March 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect fit My waste did not get bigger my stomach did. These pants fit perfect. My belly hangs over them and the waste is the correct size low cut. I wish they would make these in regular blue and without the boot cut but you can't have everything. I hope other pants makers catch on. March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yuma jeans Usually buy Levis 517, but thought I would try these. I am tall and thin, they fit great and are plently long with boots on. January 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Low cut may deter older buyers If shopping on-line, try a similar pair of locally purchased jeans with this lower cut to make sure it works with your body type/age group. January 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, but heavy. I cannot buy Wrangler jeans in Australia because they average over $120. This year I bought some in India and USA. In India where they are locally made under license, Wranglers are light-weight and good quality costing average $40-$60. In the USA, Wranglers; made and re-imported from somewhere like Mexico; sometimes cost less than $40. Those jeans are fairly heavy weight, but well made. Also US jeans are often too high-waisted. The quality is very good, but I must say I prefer lighter weight jeans. November 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great cut, quality denim. i wear these jeans as often as possible with boots. They are cut perfectly slim but comfortable. Made with quality thick denim. i get compliments often on them. November 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jeans look great on my butt! Awesome retro Wranglers. Wore them to a wedding. Looked great. Felt great! June 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice trim cut that doesn't cut you! I've been trying on lots of other fancy brands lately, looking for a snugger fit in the bottom, and these are just right. They are a bit over-washed for me, but they are soft and comfortable. Nice job on the tailoring, and certainly worth the money, especially when compared to fashion brands at at least 2-3x the price, with only one inseam length. Thx. December 15, 2011

    Answer:
It depends. I have two US supplied pairs:
One has a Wrangler brown leather badge on the back pocket. Doesn't stand out much; disappointing.
The other does not have a Wrangler label, it has a 'TwentyX' label, which, although Wrangler-made jeans, don't advertise the fact. More disappointing.
The BEST Wrangler label that I have seen is a pair that I bought in India with an 'old' looking STEEL label!

I just purchased three pairs of the 936 PreWash Slim fit Wrangler jeans. I am happy with the cut, but the waist seems high.

How does the cut and fit of the Retro Slim compare to the 936 Slim?

The description indicates that the Retro Slim sits a little lower - but still at the waist.

    Thanks.

    Answer:
the waiste line on these retro jeans run a little below the waiste it is somewhat of a low rise. they are best if purchased 2 inches shorter on inseam due to the fact that these jeans wear a little lower.

    Answer:
It is exactly the traditional 'slightly darker than mid blue' that you see for jeans every day.
Many jeans are lighter, many are charcoal or black, some are a dirty blue, but these are indeed the stock standard blue jeans colour.

    Answer:
    Andrewmodus,

These are the Premium Patch Retro Slim Fit. They are a medium wash which is a little bit darker denim. They also sit low on the waist. These are different from the 13MWZ.
