Rated 4 out of 5 Wrangler Jeans - Cowboy Cut 36 MWZ Slim Fit Rigid
I purchased the 36MWZ after wearing 936DEN jeans for many years. I found, to my disappointment, that the 36MWZ (when ordered the exact same size as the 936 jeans) were very constricting in the crotch, almost painfully. This must be a problem with their new style jeans because without buying them to the point of being baggy, even their 47MWZ is the same way. However, it is a quality jean. If they happen to fit you properly, they're tough as nails.

The 36 MWZ slim fit rigid jeans -- and they are rigid upon arrival! -- soften up quickly. The fit is good. The rise is perhaps a tad lower than the 935 boot cut jeans yet not quite as slim as the 935.
The 36 MWZ is exceptionally comfortable and equally well made. Wrangler's claims are not exaggerated. The problem with these jeans is the inseam is m-u-c-h l-o-n-g-e-r than stated, often by several inches, and shrinkage is minimal if at all. My pragmatic solution simply was to use a scissors and cut them to the correct inseam length. The resulting "cut hem" -- "non-hem", actually -- looks great.

I have worn Wranglers for 50 odd years ? currently 936s. Met Wrangler rep at local tack store open house so ordered the new Wrangler 36 in same size as the 936. Fit was extremely poor ? worst was in the in the seat and leg area.
Returned the item. Poor!

Zipper gets stuck at the bottom. A pocket rivet came off in the wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JUSTRELAXING i ALWAYS PURCHASE JEANS FROM SHEPLER BECAUSE THEY CARRY THE SLIM FIT AND ALSO HAVE THE ODD NUMBER WAIST SIZES WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AT ANY LOCAL STORE. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH ANY PURCHASES I HAVE MADE.

Have been wearing Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans for years and have purchased the new style 36 MWZ to compare. So far they are great and are more comfortable around the front pockets. The coin pocket is much more accessable.

While i love wranglers, this jean was a little different to expected. As the name suggests the jeans are very rigid, so any body who has not bought them before then beware the first time you wear them they will feel like cardboard. In saying this they do feel comfortable when they are stretched out. the only major issue i have with the jeans is that the length are wrong. at the time of purchase i also purchased a pair of wrangler jeans exactly the same size in all ways. The rigid jeans where at least 4 inches longer!
But after i have them taylored these jeans will definetly come to the front of the warddrobe.
