My husband loves the fit of these jeans, however after a couple months of wear they rip out. We go through a lot of these for his work jeans. After this last purchase he says he is looking for a new brand. First purchase through Sheplers, no complaints there. If for casual use I would recommend, but my husband does a lot of climbing in his job and these just don't hold up to that stress.

Spot on with the fit. I have these for when you want a little more room. The relaxed fit feels great and looks very smart with boots.

If you like the fit of 501s you won't like these. They are significantly more high-waisted. They also run larger.

I really liked these jeans the first 3 months I had them, but after that, the softer fabric, especially in the crotch tended to rip and fray. However, I patched them and they are are still being worn daily. I love my Wrangler Jeans, but the 47's didn't stand up to my work like the 31's do. God bless America, and God bless Wrangler!

Great fit for those of us who are no longer 25 :-). I'm 53, but still fairly trim but fighting a little around the waist. Good weight fabric, but not stiff. Narrow over the boot, so you don't get much drape over the heel, but otherwise good.
In my opinion, the best pair of jeans would be this jean but with an 18" opening at the cuff.

Very soft but substancial. Great fit, true to size. I am 5-9 and not fat but stocky and I love the fit and comfort. I liked them so well I ordered a second pair at once.
