Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans are a Western Wear icon. The Cowboy Cut jean was built to the detailed specifications of top rodeo athletes with features designed for riding - but great for every cowboy - including heavyweight denims, rivets on all pockets, strong double stitched outseams, and higher positioned back pockets. The original fit Cowboy Cut 13MWZ rigid Wrangler jean features a convenient button waist with zipper fly. Jean sits comfortably at waist. Authentic five-pocket construction. Imported. Most denim fabric is heavily starched before being cut and sewn into denim jeans. This starch isn’t washed or treated out of "rigid" denim jeans - giving them a crisp finish and unaltered fit that many a cowboy swear by. Rigid jeans soften and may slim down a bit with repeated washing and wear. The quality rigid jean is a smart buy since it’s less expensive than its pre-washed jean fit counterpart. The reasonably priced rigid denim jean sports a handsome, dark denim color that cowboys, and city guys alike, can appreciate without dipping deep into their pocketbooks.

Note: Wrangler rigid jeans may arrive slightly longer than requested. This is to compensate for shrinkage after initial washing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Quality These jeans arrived properly sized and promplty. Construction is heavy duty throughout. The zipper is brass and substantial. As was mentioned in the description the leg length was cut a bit long to allow for first washing shrinkage. After washing the length is right on and other dimensions seem unaffected. June 5, 2013

    Shrinkage?

I am considering to buy 13MWZ Original Fit Rigid but
I need your advise to determine the sizes.
    My usual size is 29x32.
-> Question: Do I need to consider the shrinkage after washing?
Should I add some inches up to get proper fit after washing like a
    shrink-to-fit jean?

    Answer:
the rigid 13MWZ comes slightly larger than the prewashed Jeans I know...I wash them very hot than they fit perfect to me (I'm slim and have slim legs)....if they fit good from the begin, just don't wash them hotter as 60°C....no worries if they become thight after a hot wash, after wearing them a few hours they'll sit perfect and comfortable....

They do not shrink when you wash and hang dry. They do shrink waist wise a bit when dryer dried.

    Answer:
If you are into normal activities - casual wear, work or school, then buy your normal size. If you are adding cowboy boots, add an inch in the length.

WRANGLER 13MWZ normally don't shrink like the competition's jeans.
However, my experience is that they will loose about 1/2 inch in the waist and about 1 inch in the length as they achieve your personal fit. And, if
you wash and dry them in a dryer, they'll shrink - and then return to your
great individual fit after wearing them for a while.

I have always bought my waist size or a little more snug for a good fit, and added about 2 inches in the length - so they can shrink some and to allow for boots. WRANGLER 13MWZ are absolutely one of the best values, best constructed and greatest looking jean around. Congratulations on your decision.

    Answer:
Well kind of depends on how you like your jeans. They do shrink but seem to shrink to the size I want. I'm a 33 but I like 34 length that bunches up on my boots. In dress pants I'd be a 33x32 I buy that size and they seem much longer when new. A few washes later they are right back where I want them, shrunk but still longer than dress pants.. So I'd get the size you like.

    Answer:
Well, this is my opinion based on my husband's wrangler's. I know that he measures about 42, but he orders a 40 waist and 34 length. They are snug, but not tight when he first puts them on, according to him, but after an hour or so, they fit perfectly for comfort. If you can try them on locally, that would be the best. He purchased his orginal pair locally, but they only had one pair in his size. I purchased a 34 waist in mens original wranglers, and I am a 35 in the waist, and 32 in length with a flat boot, but I am only 5'9 to his 5'11 height. I have a hard time buttoning mine, and they feel really snug. I prefer a more loose fit, and my jeans haven't been
worn yet, so I'm not sure if they will loosen up on wear, as his have.He wears these with a flat heeled boot. He weighs about 230 lbs. I hope this helps you.

    Answer:
You will order a size 37. The second number you see in the drop down is for your inseam. To determine your inseam, take a pair of pants that fit you well, lay flat with side seams together. Fold one leg back and measure flat leg from crotch inseam down to bottom of pant.

    Answer:
All of the WRANGLERS that I've ever purchased (and that's a lot of them!) are American made. But, You might select some specific styles and them read the description to check the point of manufacture. I used to live in Greensboro, NC and their HQ is located there.

    Answer:
You may have the numbers mixed up....you may want the waist to be 38 and the leg at 34. I'm 6'4" and a 36" leg is plenty long. You'd have to be real skinny an' awful tall to have a 34" waist and 38" leg.
