It has an elastic waist and is loose-fitting through the hips, so it ought to fit you in the medium if that's what you usually wear. Since I don't have this skirt, I cannot say for sure of course, but it is a Roper, (they are not known for cutting clothes skimpily!) To make your waistline more pronounced with an elastic waist, any nice looking western belt would do the trick, as long as it's a standard western-belt width, (1 1/2") or wider, just not narrow! I have several of the ones that are "bling"-y, (they are reasonably priced at Sheplers!) in two lengths, (natural waist and low-rise) and they really add interest to jeans; skirts too!

The Roper skirts are cut to fit Misses sizes. The skirt you mentioned, though, is not tight-fitting through the hips, and has an elastic waist . That would mean, the features that make a skirt cut more for juniors or misses, more or less irrelevant! If you can usually go with a medium you should be able to with this skirt as well, but I have not bought it so I can't say for sure. To make your waistline look more pronounced with an elastic waist, a classy western belt is just the ticket. They are generally wide enough at 1 1/2" to serve that purpose well. I have a collection of the "bling"-y ones myself, to go with my different colors of boots--in two lengths, (natural waist and low-rise)--which are great with both jeans and skirts.
