This is the first time I have worn Ropers for dancing and they are perfect. I wore them a few times prior to the dance floor to break them in - not necessary. I may order them in brown...just because.

My ropers are my #1 choice for dancing, be it line or just getting up to boogie. The leather sole is great for spinning and the low heel keeps me grounded. Ropers look great with dress pants or jeans. Recommend good quality medium to heavy wool socks for dancing duty (not cotton) and do your best to keep the sole dry if you like a slippery spinner. I always buy these boots because they come in an 'A' fitting and are so comfortable. I ride two/three horses a day, wash them down after and muck out yards. These boots last at least 12 months, sometimes longer, whereas other well-known brands go into holes after 6 months of everyday wear. They polish up smartly, look good enough to wear for dress and I love them.

These boots were for my sister who gets compliments to this day on the pair that she has worn and polished regularly for 30 years. Finally, she needed a new pair, and so these new ones were for her birthday gift. She said she had a "Cinderella moment" when she put them on. They fit perfectly and were so beautiful and new....plus the smell of new leather is divine.

Very true to size for narrow feet. These boots were comfortable right away. I wish they came in another color.

I buy one pair per year and wear them out to where they have holes in the soles. My size is hard to find, 5.5 and C width, and these Justins fit me. They were hard to find this year. I always have to buy online because stores don't carry my size. This is the first time I bought them through Sheplers and it was a good experience. I hope they will carry them next year. I wear the boots everyday for ranch work and riding.

I was surprised at the horrible fit as I have purchased Justin Boots before. I ordered C width. If that was a C, I wonder what the B width is like!!! Put them right back in the box and sent them back.

I have trouble wearing roper boots as they are usually B or C fitting. It is great to find a maker that does A fitting. I can buy a 7A in Justin boots and they fit perfectly. This boot stays looking smart and clean up well when the ground is muddy. I will keep buying this boot for as long as it is produced. However, it would be nice to purchase another colour also but they are only offered in black.
