I ordered this tie wanting the western style bowtie with ribbons (string ties). I was pleased to get this one, though. It will be THE tie until I can find the old Bret Maverick type ties.

Looks great and is adjustable. Very durable and easy to care for. I suggest getting all three color ties. If my dog hadn't decided to chew one of my ties, it would still be looking like the day Shelplers delivered it.

The brown double string tie I got was just a velcro in the back adjustment, and a bowtie-like knot in the front- more like a bandanna- don't choose brown, get the other ones, they came out nice!

I purchased the string tie in black, blue and brown. With those colors I can wear them with any color shirt. I wore the black and brown ties already and received many compliments on their looks. My job said to wear a tie but didn't say what kind of tie and since I wear western style shirts these ties go great with them.The remind me of the ties worn on the Wyatt Earp show.

I received the tie and was surprised that instead of just two ribbons it has four. No problem, it will still look good. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I needed a change from the Bo-lo ties. This is a little more for Dress up in a suit. It's adjustable, for around the neck, thank goodness I have a rather large neck.
