Rated 5 out of 5 by Dressy Boots really nice boot, very glad i purchased them after alot of thinking. Just note they are very narrow across the top of your foot but because they are leather they will give, im currently wearing them around the house until they are perfect. July 22, 2012

    Answer:
What I can see is the heel is rubber, the sole is leather with an imprint on it, and the sizing M is medium widths.

    Answer:
This boots sometimes have a sole that is chemical and oil resistant, but mostly they are with a pure leather sole, just as in the old Wild West days. They are a fantastic pair of boots, my lady wife has a pair and it is sometimes extremely difficult to get her to take them off and wear a different type of boot/shoe, that's how much she likes them. What better recommendation does one need?

    Answer:
Boot and shoe manufacturers use mainly a simple guideline of sizes to use when preparing for a line of shoes or boots. You will see the following:

    N-Narrow, M-Med, W-Wide
    or
    B-Narrow, D-Medium, E-Wide or EE extra wide

There are a few times you may come across more widely used sizes where A, B, C, D, E, EE, EEE, EEEE, etc are used, so that a manufacturer is more able to fit the entire population.

    Answer:
No, Standard width for a woman's boot is "B" width (which may be labeled "M" for "Medium" width).
