Was worried about fit ordering online especially as shoe sizes seem to vary widely among styles and brands. Before ordering I did try on some boots of different brands to get an idea. The Tony Lama, Ariat and Nocona brands seemed to run true or at least pretty much the same in the size I was trying, 10 1/2 D. The Justin seemed to be too tight in the same size. I ordered the same size that I wear in a dress shoe which mostly is Rockport brand. I don't think I could have gotten a better fit in this boot. It just feels right, very comfortable. And the sole and heel give you sure-footed traction unlike slippery leather soles.

I've been a boot person for most of my 58 years. I own only one pair of shoes. These TL boots were some of the best fitting I have ever bought. They have now become my every day boots.
I buy a lot from Sheplers, mostly when I'm back in Texas. My order came in on time as promised Boots were true to size and color.
Will be buying another pair of TL boots for dress boots soon.
Would recommend these boots to any one looking for a good every day boot.

Very comfortable can wear all day long. I will buy a new pair when needed for sure.

I say "surprizingly comfortable" because I never owned boots this comfortable. Great look and can wear all day without foot fatique.

I have had 4 pair of these boots and I can't wear anything else. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, I wear them working, riding, and to church. Great all around boot.
Well worth the money.

The only boot my son will wear. He has them in work boots and in pleasure boots. He wears a size that is not easily found in boot stores so we generally have to order each time. The boots wear well and are easily broken in. They are durable and last a long time, which is good since they are not cheap. Worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by maxwolf these boots are very comfortable, the size was perfect. no break in required. The sole and heel provide the extra traction needed for a work boot even in snowy alaskan conditions. A nice looking pair of boots that can be worn every where.

Really happy with this boot as we do the muster and then a lot of the work in the yards on foot so now I do not have to pack two pair of boots as these are great to walk in also. It can get quite humid where we are and yet they do not bother you at all, and I love the slightly longer shank.
