I have waited for ever to review this purchase. These are a good looking pair of Tony Lama's my favorite boot brand. I tried to wear these and they hurt my feet so bad! I've tried a little at a time break in, different socks, pedicure before wearing. No matter what I've tried they just kill my feet! I have stored them out of sight out of mind for now. I need (want) another pair of Tony Lama's but now I'm a little gun shy. How ever Sheplers customer service is still the best and I will be back!

I never own tony lama until now ive always bought lucchesse. or laredo.
I know now what ive been missing the quality is outstanding. the looks are great. Sheplers is a awesome outfit to buy from. i will buy tony lama again. if they made a suede leather boot i would buy them even though my wife keeps telling me i have enough boots.

My husband loves the boots!! No need to break them in. The only thing I hate is that it leaves black marks on my tile.....but they look great!!

I have been wearing Tony Lama's since 1970, they are boot that has always fits the same everytime I purchase a pair. I had to buy this pair because the pair I bought on 2/14/1978 needed heels and soles again. my Pair from 1997 are still great, the snakeskin from 2000 well live and learn. The new pair are great. You see I put the date in my boots, just like my truck I can tell everything that has been done to them and what brand gives me the best service.

I have several pair of Tony Lama boots. This pair is nice except they seem a little narrow in the width. Quality leather and construction.

I have just retired a pair of "full quill" Tony Lamas that I absolutely loved. Owned them several years and walked through at least four half soles before the rest of the boot started to wear out.
Decided to try the "quilled" boots since the price was so good, and overall I am pleased. The boots are good looking, and now that I have put a few miles on them they are feeling like they should.
These are the things about the boot that I was a little surprised with:
1) There is almost no padding in the bottom of the boot. There is but a small piece of liner that covers on the heal inside the boot. All of my other Tony Lama's have a full padded liner in the boot.
2) The instep, the part of the boot you must pass the top of your foot past when inserting your foot is a lot more stiff than my other pairs, and as such during the break-in period it is tough to pull them on. This has gotten better each day.
