workincowboy20 look good, but not good fer buckaroo'n (which is what there sposed to be for)
they run small and narrow... my main problem with them is the heel, it is to far forward without a big enough bridge fer real life buckaroo used, they dont set in the stirrups well atall... only thing they got goin fer em is there looks... i hate to say this bout tony lama but theyre makin CITY SLICKER BOOTS not for real buckaroo use, if you call em buckaroo boots make em fer a real horseback ranch hand

Rated 4 out of 5 by Goldmember Great comfortable boot, very flexible, instantly broken in
Really wanting this boot and not able to get it in the Netherlands I ordered it through Sheplers about a year ago. Following several online foot measure and conversion charts I ordered a 11,5 EE. Recieving the boot I instantly felt I had ordered at least 1 size to big. Returning it though to get another size would have cost me much more money. So I found a good inlay sole to fill the gaps
About the boot. Fantastic. These don't have to be broken in at all. I've never walked a blister in these. Pull em on and you are ready to face the day. I walked 3 days straight on these from morning till evening without a problem.
For riding they have a good sole on the stirrups and a great spurridge. It's impossible to get your foot through the stirrup with a heal like this one. Do put your pants over the shaft while riding if you want to keep them nice or you'll break the stitching.
I don't think they'd make a really good work boot. The leather is fairly thin and soft and the sole is very flexible. You can feel rocks pushing through. The boots softness provides mediocre support of the ankle. The shaft is made of thin leather, I does stand up straight though (doesn't fall when off). For ranching they might be okay though.
All in all for the boot a great boot price/quality wise. You'll get a buch of comments on it(not always complents), probably because it's a pretty extreme design. A shaft with flair, a huge heal, big and wide spur ridge and a beautiful saddle vamp. Everything I think a boot needs. If I was sure of buying the perfect size I would order them again.
To bad Tony Lama doesn't retail in Europe/Benelux. Until they do, I'm only buying boots I can try on. In the mean time another american brand is munching up the whole european market, Including me. I just got new boots..... size 10....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steamworks Well made, I would buy again
These boots, though made in China, are excellent quality. In fact, I bought these to replace a pair I've completely worn out. That pair held up to almost daily use for a couple of years. I've bought Tony Lama USA boots too, but I have to admit that these are just as good.

As advertised, break-in period minimal. Wore for 10 hours first day with no issues at all. Would recommend.
