Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice riding boots Good boots for westernriding, durable Quality ,nice look. November 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLENT WORK BOOT These boots fit my feet perfectly. I have a narrow foot so the normal D width is usually a little wide. Tony Lama boots are the only boots that fit just right and the price doesn't change the quality. Great boot! August 5, 2012

    Answer:
We do a lot of cutting, drilling, and grinding in our shop and never have had a problem with steel chips and this sole. It doesn't pick up chips and steel slivers like a crepe sole does. Another plus is the oil resistance of this sole. So far no problems with any type of motor oil or cutting oil. I am refering to the Old West Trucker boots.
