I reviewed many cowgirl boots before deciding on this one. And I am so glad I did. Note that boots are supposed to be a bit harder to get into, but once you're in, it's super comfortable, and you can feel a bit of space between the back of your heel and the boot.
I received these on a Friday afternoon, and wore them out for a good 8 hours that night, and unlike all other new shoes Ive ever worn, these felt like I had broken them in years ago... comfort to a new degree. If you're contemplating getting these, dont hesitate.
I'm usually at 5 or 5.5 in boots, and I'm glad I got the 5.5. (I'm a 5 in heels, 5.5 in running shoes, and 6 in flats).
Also, the picture is a bit deceiving, because the boot itself is darker in shade than pictured. I was expecting a more orange/dark tan boot, but instead got a darker brown with orange undertones. Regardless, beautiful.

After reading other reviews from Australian reviewers, I bought a size 9.5. I am normally an Australian size 9 to 9.5. I have slightly broad feet and higher arches. Once the boots are on they fit perfectly. However, getting them on the first 4 or 5 times was a little like an exercise in torture... it was only the fact I could see that they would fit once they were on (and the thought of the return postage) that made me persist. The ankle is much narrower that the actual fit of the boot makes out it should be. I also stuck tins of tomatoes in them to try and stretch the ankle bit out. This all seemed to work and they are now much easier to get on. They are beautiful boots and once on they are very comfortable (even all day). The design is great and they have a lovely "lived in" look that avoids the "new boot" scream that some boots have when you first wear them. The quality is much higher than I had anticipated too. All round... very happy with my purchase.

I'm a city girl that purchased a pair of Tony Lama boots at a consignment shop, on the east coast. I knew nothing about boots, except the comfort of Tony Lama. The Vaquero was the 1st pair I bought online... I love, love these boots. I slipped them on and they felt like they were made for me. The materials are quality & the look is amazing. I've worn them to work, to ride my motorcycle and out to clubs... all worked out quite well.

These shoes are amazing! I followed the sizing guidelines on the website and took their word for it to get your normal sizing - I as anxious they would not fit correctly but they were perfect! They are incredibly wearable and took no time to break in. I purchased them on a Sunday and they arrived by Thursday (I live in Ireland)!
They only downside was that I was charged importation taxes when I got them - but because I love them so much it was worth it!!

these would not have fit my 6yr old.I only wear a size 5 .I have never even worn a 5.5. could not even get my toe in to this boot

I bought these as a Christmas present for my wife. They came in two days. I was so excited when I saw them, I went ahead and gave them to her. I found Sheplers by mistake just looking for boots, but have given your name to two others who saw her boots and wanted to know where to get thems. Everything was perfect. Thanks
