This is one of the only hats I have found that fits my big head comfortably. It is a light hat for being out in the sun. It is not a cowboy hat but rather a fedora for use in the urban landscape or on vacation in warmer climes....

I'm not one to wear hats but this one is the exception. I like the looks plus its comfort as you don't even realize you have anything on your head. Great option!!

This hat is attractive and shades the sun beautifully. I cannot bear the glare of sun, so the lining under the front of the brim is a must for me. It shades my eyes very well. I generally wear a 6 7/8. I purchased the small, added one layer of cardboard under the inner hatband and the fit was perfect. The brim can be shaped fairly well, though the flat brim is nice as it is.
I was underwhelmed by the packaging. The hat was 'free-floating' in a box and the box arrived bashed and battered. Surprisingly, the hat was fine.

I am very pleased with the Stetson Dove Mountain. This is a well made Summer hat that is very light and airy, yet offers very good sun protection. I am pleased with how sturdy it is (the crown is reinforced) and like opaque material fused to the front brim fully shading the face from light that would normally pass through the seagrass weave. The hat is very reasonably priced and draws frequent compliments.
