You can feel a breeze flow through the crown of this hat while you are protected from the damaging effects of the sun. For many years I've had to have pre-cancerous lesions frozen from my nose starting early every summer. NOT this year. The unique built in sun protection has taken care of that. Not only is it good for your protection---it is an authentic stylish Stetson hat. Can't get much Cooler" than that.

Being a bit of a hat fetishist(!) I couldn't resist this as a dressier alternative to my trusty Tilly.
Good fit although having access to lining tape or a cap-nu-band or equivalent could be useful. Like the chin strap for windy weather use.
As far as durability goes - no comment as yet although build quality looks ok.

I WAS DISAPPONTED THAT IT WAS A STETSON, SAYING IT WAS MADE IN MEXICO. I WAS LOOKING FOR AN AMERICAN MAKE PRODUCT, IT WAS A LITTLE PRICEY WHEN YOU ADD SHIPPING EVEN THOUGH IT WAS TAX FREE, YOUR SERVICE WAS GOOD L.E.W

Craigy58 Nice Hat
This is a nice looking well constructed hat. I have fair skin and live in the desert. I need a hat I can wear everyday that keeps looking good. This hat runs a little big, but I don't think I should have gotten the next size smaller. I get lots of complements on how stylish this hat is.

I have to wear a hat just about 365 days a year here in Florida. Typically, burning through 3 to 4 hats a year. I work outside in an explosive laboratory. Except for about 3 months, you are soaking wet from the heat within 15 to 45 minutes and with the sun beating down on your head?insult to injury; I can tell the difference with its level of UV protection. This hat keeps you cool and the sweet from your eyes; it holds its style, and you know what, it?s just a really good hat.

Received many compliments on the hat. It is an excellent hat for golf with the chin strap proving useful in windy conditions. The design and quality is expected of a Stetson. The service from Sheplers has always been consistent in ensuring that the hat arrived in good condition and delivered promptly.
