He's at that stage where he wants "big boy" boots but mom still wants them to be cute. This was the compromise. The colors are terrific. The cutout of the longhorn skull looks great and adds just the right whimsy. The toe is very comfortable. I bought a 12 even though he is at 11/11.5 because I wanted to get some additional use out of the boots. He wears thick socks with them and has worn them to school even in the high 90s. Yes, he loves them. I bought them on sale and they were worth every penny. August 30, 2011
