This jacket was not true to the size rating and the quality was poor. The jacket button broke the first time it was opened. I returned the jackets

I would have liked the linings to be soft. Fleece lined or denim would have been best. Instead what we have is a plastic like fabric that I am afraid will rip in our cold winters. I am worried that even a set of keys may puncture them. The outside of the jacket and the sherpa lining seem to be of good quality. Price was good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Giacomo Size Issues Left Me w/o a jacket and out in the cold.
I was really looking forward to the sherpa jean jacket. It's cold here in NY, below freezing a lot and some below zero hits. It arrived, I opened it up enthusiastically and, "Oh No!"
The issue I had was not with the quality so much as the size confusion. I wear 2x and 2xL all the time, they are my consistent size, and some are even a bit big on me. This one looked great online, but the size was too small, much smaller than I would have suspected.
If I remember the wording right it said it was a standard size, or something phrased in a way that indicated a normal 2xL size would be expected. Not sure why the huge difference with other 2xLs I have gotten over the years but this was way off.
I had to return the jacket and at this point I don't trust getting another one, though I would love one.

i was massively impressed with the value and quality of all the products i recently purchased from you. when you consider inferior imitations of your products are on sale in the u/k and cost more than your clothing even when you add on the postage and other costs i cannot praise you enough. i have visited most of the cities on your eastern seaboard over the years but had i known about sheplers i would have as the saying goes "gone west young man" to load up with your clothing. needless to say when i need any more clothing you will be my first port of call.

that not only matches my jeans, but it is so warm, than in winter I wear it to drive my motorcycle.

I'm delighted with the jacket. It took a few weeks to get here, however there isn't anything like it available that I could find in Ireland. 30 years ago I bought a similar jacket here in Dublin (much more rock 'n roll - less cowboy/western) and I still have that one as well. It keeps me warm out on building sites and walking in the evenings....its perfect.
